A complete kit for repairing, forging, and maintaining metalwork — hammers, tongs, files, anvils, quench trough and measuring tools. Edda keeps one of her personal smelling-rusty hammers in every kit.

Grants proficiency advantage to checks when used by someone proficient with smith's tools (DM fiat when appropriate).

A stout kit of farm basics: a hand sickle, a sturdy iron hoe-head, a leather-wrapped mallet, heavy nails and a length of chain. Packed compactly for new tenants.

Reinforced leather bridle with brass studs and iron bit. Keeps stubborn mounts under control in rough fields.

Horses and other mounts wearing this reduce chance of escape in poor footing (flavor; DM call).

A set of four iron shoes hammered with small runes and Edda's secret tempering oil. Grants a sure step on mud, snow, and alpine scree.

While worn by a mount, the mount has advantage on Dexterity (Saving Throws) and Dexterity checks to avoid slipping or being shoved on unstable surfaces (uncommon magic-equivalent).

A bronze-tinted plowshare that parts soil like water. Local farmers swear their fields recover faster after use.

When used to till soil, the land yields a small boon: once per long rest a field tended with this plowshare can increase crop yield by about 10–20% for a season (social/roleplay/mechanical benefit subject to DM).

Stout iron manacles riveted by Edda for the town constable. Locks are basic but effective.

Sets of two; lock mechanism can be picked with thieves' tools (normal DC).

Harness that distributes the load across the mount, with a quick-release for emergency disentanglement.

Quick-release can free a stuck animal in 1 action (roleplay/DM call).

Secret blend of fats, herbs, and minerals used during quenching to produce resilient edges.

When used in forging, grants +1 to weapon or tool durability checks (mechanic: DM/between-sessions maintenance advantage).

Ten feet of heavy, interlocked iron chain. Useful for yokes, gates, and dragging harvest wagons.

A soot-resistant iron lantern with thick glass and a hinged door. Shines bright enough to work by during late harvest.

Built to survive drops; won't shatter easily (flavor/reduced break chance).

A compact set: a folding horseshoe-shaped knife used to cut rope, leather, or small bindings. Often gifted to trusted caravaners.

Blade is treated with tempering oil so it resists corrosion; small hidden compartment in handle.

Service ticket. Edda will rivet and reinforce a section of armor (shoulders or chest) to better withstand blows from farming tools and low-level combat.

Repairs grant advantage on saving throws vs. blunt trauma once (roleplay mechanic; DM discretion).

Edda accepts commissions for one-of-a-kind tools, from ornately engraved sickles to fortified gate hinges. Lead time depends on complexity.

Items commissioned here often come with Edda's tempering oil and a year of free sharpening.

A carved iron token, blessed by the local herbalist and then hammered by Edda. Farmers keep them in seed sacks to ward against rot.

Once per season, the bearer can remove one disease or rot effect from a sowed seed-lot or crop area (uncommon/magic utility; DM adjudication).
Weapons6

A heavy scythe reworked for combat: a long haft with a razor-curved blade. Edda tempers the edge to hold through hay and hide alike.

Well-balanced for reach attacks in farm work and skirmishes.

A clean, balanced battleaxe with runic notch on the haft. Edda calls it 'house-splitting' and guarantees reliability in a fight.

Atk Treats as a +1 weapon. The haft has a faint scent of oil and cinnamon (Edda's mark).

A fluid, sharp sickle with a trimmed wooden grip. Keeps a keen edge through the season.

Sickle is light and well-balanced for harvesting herbs and combat alike.

A stout iron poker used for stoking hearths and, occasionally, for bludgeoning jackals. Balanced for control.

Warm to the touch after being near a fire; can be used to stir molten metals in smithing.

A cleaned, straightened spear with a new leaf blade, suitable for guarding fields and keeping wolves at bay.

Has an extended haft option for +2 gp (adds reach in some campaigns per DM).

A long pole tipped with a hooked iron head used to pull down rotten beams or catch runaway livestock. Doubles as an improvised weapon.

Hook can catch and trip a small animal or humanoid (grapple/trip attempts subject to DM rules).
Armor2

Thick leather apron with iron studs across the chest and thighs to deflect stray farm tools and embers.

AC +1Provides +1 to AC when worn over light clothing while performing labor (represents padding/studs).

A broad wooden shield bound with iron. Designed to take blows from tools and critters common to farm defense.

AC +2Standard +2 AC when wielded as a shield (represents +2 to AC).
Potions1

A small glass phial half full of red liquid. Heals minor wounds in battle or accident.

Heal 2 HPHeals HP (standard D&D 5e potion of healing).

Shop Atmosphere

Edda whistles old harvest tunes while she works and marks every piece she forges with a tiny burn mark shaped like a bramble leaf. She refuses to sell more than two horseshoe sets to any one traveling merchant (suspicious of outsiders hoarding supplies). Edda will barter sharpening or minor repairs for a share of fresh produce when the harvest is good, and she keeps a ladder and a wooden spoon in her forge for measuring coal temperature and calming upset apprentices.
