Miscellaneous1

A palm-sized clockwork construct shaped like a sparrow or corvid. Functions as a familiar (as Find Familiar) for up to 24 hours after winding. Rewinding is a short action and requires a special key (included). Durable brass feathers and tiny lenses allow simple scouting.

AC +12Functions as a familiar (senses and Help action). Can carry up to 1 lb and record short optical sketches that can be viewed with a magnifier. Lasts 24 hours per full wind; requires tinker's tools check () to repair if damaged.
Miscellaneous1

A palm-sized canister that, when opened, spills eight tiny clockwork spiders which crawl and cling. They entangle a single Medium or smaller creature on a failed Dexterity save, causing movement halved and granting advantage on attacks vs prone creatures for up to 1 minute or until destroyed.

AC +10 Dexterity save or become restrained; the swarm has 10 hp collectively and AC 13. On subsequent turns they bite for and can be removed with an action ( Strength or with a tool check). Single-use, requires hour of tinkering to refill.
Miscellaneous1

A wrist-mounted device with a spring-and-bladder system that fires a tethered grappling hook up to 60 feet. Allows the wielder to anchor and pull objects up to 300 lb with a successful Athletics check.

Once per short rest can be fired; reloading (refill the bladder) takes 10 minutes. On a hit to an anchored surface, the wielder may attempt a Strength (Athletics) check to pull themselves at half speed, or pull an unattended object up to the listed weight.
Miscellaneous1

A medium clockwork hunting hound. Acts as a loyal companion construct with basic obedience routines. Can track quarry (advantage on Survival checks to track for 1 hour at a time) and performs watchdog duties.

Atk AC +13Has Darkvision 60 ft, advantage on scent-based checks, and can be commanded as a bonus action by its owner. Repairs require tinker's tools and 2 downtime days if HP reduced to 0.
Miscellaneous1

A finely balanced dagger with coiled brass springs in the hilt that can deliver a sudden extra snap when thrown or used in melee.

Atk On a successful attack once per short rest, the wielder can force the target to make a Strength save or be knocked prone. Counts as a magical weapon for overcoming resistances.
Miscellaneous1

A small buckler of interlocking brass plates that snaps outward to add extra protection for brief moments.

AC +1When activated (bonus action, usable 3 times per long rest), grants +2 temporary AC for 1 round. Requires tiny winds set and occasional oiling.
Miscellaneous2

A slick, faintly glowing oil designed to keep clockwork mechanisms running. One vial suffices for minor repairs and maintenance for several devices.

When used on a damaged clockwork construct or device, grants a bonus to any one repair check or reduces downtime repair time by 50% (GM adjudication).

A small ceramic pellet that shatters on impact and emits a 10-foot-radius smoke cloud that heavily obscures the area for 1 minute or until dispersed by strong wind.

Useful for escapes or masking movement. Single-use.
Miscellaneous1

A replacement canister for the Brass Spider Swarm. Contains eight pre-wound metallic spiders sealed for immediate use.

Single-use refill for Brass Spider Swarm devices. Tinker's Tools check () to swap in under 1 minute.
Miscellaneous1

Goggles fitted with tiny resonant crystals and lenses that translate sound into faint visual ripples. Grants enhanced perception in low-light and picks up mechanical vibrations.

Provides advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing in a 30-foot radius twice per long rest. Also grants low-light vision equivalent to dim light detection.
Miscellaneous1

A light crossbow adapted with a winding spool that automatically reloads once per round for 3 rounds after a full wind. Requires specialized bolts.

After a short rest winding (1 minute), it can auto-reload for up to 3 shots, allowing rapid consecutive firing without manual reload. Uses special brass-tipped bolts (sold separately).
Miscellaneous1

A viscous, silvery potion that when applied to a construct or an armor piece restores structural integrity.

When poured over a damaged construct or broken nonmagical item, restores HP to the construct or repairs a nonmagical item as if mended by a successful smith's check. Single-use.
Miscellaneous1

A small brass key etched with runes that can be used to attune and power certain clockwork constructs and devices. Provides a stable arcane conduit.

Attunement item. When used to wind an attunable clockwork device, it grants +1 to attack rolls and damage (if device makes attacks) or +1 to checks made by the device for as long as the device remains keyed (maximum 7 days per attunement). Can be used to power one device at a time.
Miscellaneous1

A half-cloak woven with clockwork micro-frames and a single scrying crystal. On activation, it briefly shifts the wearer's position along the planar fringe.

Requires attunement. Once per long rest, as a bonus action the wearer can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space they can see. On a failed recovery roll ( Intelligence (Investigation) check after use), one micro-frame may seize and the cloak is unusable until repaired (repair costs 250 gp and 2 days).
Miscellaneous1

A standard set of small tools, sprockets, clock springs, pins, and lubricants suitable for basic device maintenance.

Provides advantage on checks to repair or modify small clockwork devices when used by someone with proficiency in Tinker's Tools.

Shop Atmosphere

The Clockwork Canopy sits beneath a glass dome filled with hanging brass filigree and drifting gear-motes. Tinket Bronzewheel hums small mechanical tunes under their breath and punctuates sentences by flicking a pocket sparrow to life for a second. Customers who leave a simple trinket (coin-sized) with a name scratch receive a 'tag'—a tiny, stamped brass token that Tinket's clockworks will try to return if the item is later left in the shop. Beware: Tinket has a fondness for testing new prototypes on consenting patrons and will often offer discounts if you volunteer as an 'operator' (signing a very short, enthusiastic waiver). The workshop closes at dusk but the glass dome's brass lanterns are kept on for an hour while stray gears are counted — any clockwork device left overnight is charged a 1 gp/day storage and a complimentary oiling.
