A supple cuir of woven barklace and vine-thread that shifts hue and texture to blend with its wearer. Attunes to wearer; once attuned it grants subtle resilience and natural camouflage.

AC +1Functions as studded leather (AC 12 + Dex). While worn, the tunic grants +1 to AC (stacks with studded leather base). Once per long rest, wearer may cast Pass Without Trace (no components) while within natural terrain.

A shield carved from rowan and wrapped in living vine. The wood warms to the touch and hums faintly when danger approaches.

AC +1+1 to AC while wielded. Once per short rest, as a reaction, the bearer can cause the shield to sprout thorny filaments: attackers that hit the bearer with a melee attack take piercing damage.

Short bracers woven from barklace that conform uniquely to their wearer. They can be ordered to be made to measure; custom orders require a drop of blood.

AC +1Provides +1 to Dexterity (Stealth) checks in natural terrain. If custom-attuned (drop of blood given at commissioning), bracers grant a one-time reroll of a failed Dexterity saving throw per long rest.

A helmet lacquered with living bark and inlaid with a sliver of moon-fern. It hums faintly and picks up starlight.

AC +1Grants +1 to Perception (vision-based checks) and advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks made to find hidden creatures in dim light or starlight. Once per long rest, wearer may see invisible fey or spirits for 1 round.

Standard scale mail whose plates are etched with leaf motifs and sealed with sap varnish.

AC +14Mundane scale mail (AC 14 + Dex max 2). The leaf pattern grants a +1 on Nature checks related to plants while worn.
Miscellaneous4

A cloak woven from pale vine-thread whose surface whispers like leaves. It muffles movement and sometimes smells faintly of rain.

Advantage on Stealth checks made to move silently in natural environments. Once per day grants invisibility for up to 1 minute while stationary among foliage.

Arrows tipped with dark, springy thorns that embed and hold. Regrown vine-sheaths preserve the shafts.

On hit, target takes an extra piercing and must succeed on a Strength check to remove the arrow without taking an extra damage. Quivers are mundane but created with druidic sap that makes arrows flexible and resilient.

A braided belt of vine-thread used to carry pouches and small tools; rumored to help warm sleeping wearers.

When tied before sleep, the belt grants +1 to Cold resistance for 8 hours. Useful for travelers.

A lantern containing a slow-burning verdant flame. The light dances like being filtered through leaves.

Provides bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. Creatures of plant type have disadvantage on attacks when within the lantern's bright light (due to disruptive motes).
Weapons2

A long, graceful spear whose haft is bound with green-silver barklace and a faint rune. It sings softly to those of fey-touched bloodlines.

Atk Counts as a magical weapon for overcoming resistances. Once per short rest, the wielder may, on a hit, attempt to charm the target (Wisdom save ) — the effect lasts 1 round on a failed save or is resisted on a success.

A finely balanced longsword with a faint green tinge at the edge, forged with techniques Maelwen learned near standing stones.

Mundane. Well-balanced for ceremonial use; grants +1 to Athletics checks to draw the blade cleanly as part of ritual combat.
Potions2

A vial of shimmering amber sap. Heals minor wounds when drunk.

A deeper green vial cut from bogglass. Restores significant wounds when swallowed.

Shop Atmosphere

The shop smells of fresh sap and pine smoke. Maelwen speaks in proverbs and hums ancestral tunes while working. All bespoke barklace garments require the commissioner's presence and a symbolic drop of blood during the final fitting — this binds the weave to the wearer's life-scent and allows the garment to change color and small properties to match the wearer. Customers who leave coin on the carved standing stone by the door often find a small protective knot of vine-thread tucked into their parcels.
