(16)Simple, well-prepared parchment rolled and tied with twine. Absorbs ink cleanly and resists smudging.
A feathered quill that never needs dipping when writing spells — it draws ink small amounts from an internal reservoir.
A vial of ink mixed with powdered starmoss and a single mote of faerie-luck. Necessary for making scrolls that hold stable magic.
Leather-wrapped tube lined with thin lead sheets to protect sensitive glyphs from scrying and light rain.
Small pouch containing common spell components: powdered chalk, a bit of bat guano, iron filings, small beads, etc.
A single-use scroll bearing the Mage Armor spell. Useful for casters or light-armored allies who lack armor.
A shimmering scroll that creates illusory duplicates to confuse attackers.
A carefully scribed globe of fiery runes. Handle with extreme care — a poorly read scroll can explode.
A taut ribbon of shimmering script that rushes with kinetic energy. Favored by adventuring companies.
Light as a moth-wing, this scroll grants flight for a short duration.
A precise, clinical collection of runes used to negate ongoing magic.
Words shaped to gently bend willpower. Useful for social manipulation or getting out of tight spots.
A shimmering, somewhat unstable scroll that grants true invisibility even when attacking. Marella acquired it from a travelling illusionist.
A low-cost single-use scroll with a cantrip (Sleeping Fan, Light, Minor Illusion, or similar). Marella keeps a rotating stock.
Marella will scribe a spell you possess onto a scroll. Price includes parchment, ink, and her labor. Requires 1 day per spell level (minimum 1 day).
A small glass phial containing herbaceous liquid. It's not a cure, but eases fatigue and soothes minor arcane backlash after failed scribing.

Shop Atmosphere
“The shop smells of ink, ozone, and dried lavender. Shelves are a cheerful chaos — scrolls float in protective glass bubbles that hum faintly; Marella offers tea to customers and will happily tell a two-minute story about any scroll's origin for a silver. She insists that customers sign a ledger (in invisible ink) promising not to misread explosive scrolls. Occasionally a stray glyph will rearrange letters of product tags — Marella calls it 'spelling with attitude' and charges 1 cp to have it fixed.”
