A thin scroll that crackles faintly. Makes a rider or gambler move like the wind — good for a quick getaway.

Grants the mounted creature advantage on saving throws to avoid being knocked prone and reduces the mount's carried weight by 50 lb for carrying capacity calculations.

A small iron spur etched with migration runes. Tap it on the ground and a tiny magical bird will scout a short distance.

Once per short rest, you can summon a spectral rail-lark that flies up to 60 ft, scouts, and can return with a message. It has the stats of a familiar but is incorporeal and disappears after 1 hour.

He measures prices in horse-equivalents (one 'nag' = 100 gp) when tipsy and insists every sale comes with a story — bargains for a good tall tale. He has a pinned wanted poster behind the counter for a 'missing' merchant caravan (the poster is for his ex), and he'll sometimes barter repairs for favors owed to monstrous clans in Droaam.
