A tiny crystal vial filled with swirling silver mist, set into a brass filigree amulet. The wearer can feel a faint breath of cool air against their skin when danger looms.

Once per long rest, the wearer can hold their breath automatically for up to 10 minutes and gain advantage on checks to resist choking or inhaled poisons for 1 minute.

A brass locket with tiny visible gears. When opened it reveals a rotating miniature scene; it keeps a small ward inside.

Grants advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to move silently and reduces falling damage by once per fall. Usable 3 times per long rest.

A tiny glass shard sealed in a copper bezel. When pressed to torn fabric or leather it knits fibers together.

Can repair nonmagical clothing or leather items to perfect condition in 10 minutes. Once per day, it can restore HP to a nonmagical construct or animate object.

A silvery locket engraved with a tiny compass rose. When asked a simple direction it offers a whisper.

Once per short rest the wearer can concentrate for 1 minute to receive a directional whisper toward a named location within 10 miles (general direction, not exact coordinates).

A braided cord threaded with a piece of petrified wood. When worn, the skin feels like old tree bark.

Once per long rest the wearer can activate the necklace to gain the effect of the barkskin spell for 1 hour (AC set to 16 if not higher).

A narrow circlet set with three tiny moonstones. Lightly hums with planar energy.

Grants the wearer one short-range blink ability: once per short rest as a bonus action, teleport up to 15 feet to a space you can see that isn't occupied.

Merrin will set any purchased gem into a pendant or brooch and add a minor non-combat enchantment (as per necklaces/brooches in stock). Takes 1 day.

Custom enchantments limited to effects similar in power to items priced 300 gp–900 gp. More powerful magic requires negotiation and licensing paperwork.

Merrin talks to every item in the shop as though it were an old friend and insists on giving customers a free 'safety tap'—a light, whimsical spell that checks a new item's enchantment. He wears half-moon spectacles with an extra tiny lens that flips down when appraising gems and hums a cheery, slightly off-key tune while working. Though respected by the town for decades, townsfolk sometimes awkwardly avoid his shop's doorway; Merrin never lets that bother him and greets each stranger with a tea sample and a story about some long-ago invention that 'went slightly sideways.'
