Miscellaneous4

A full set of small gears, files, tiny hammers, magnifying lenses and conductive wire — indispensable for field repairs and minor magical gadgetry.

Required for attuning or repairing most shop-bought small clockwork devices; grants proficiency benefits when used to craft or repair.

A clockwork rat with tiny wheels and a charcoal eye-lens. Fun for children, useful for infiltration.

AC +6Moves independently for up to 1 hour on wound-up power; can be directed to deliver small objects (up to 1 lb) or scout in confined spaces. Has a tiny lens granting its operator advantage on Perception checks when watching the rat through a hookup (requires 5 minutes and a Tinker's Tools check to connect).

A small pouch with assorted cogs, springs, pins and tiny lenses — everything a tinkerer needs for quick fixes.

Used as raw materials for small repairs and crafting checks; grants +1 on Tinker's Tools checks if used.

A discrete alarm that can be set to rattle or flash at a precise time, powered by wound springs and a small glimmerstone.

Can be set to detect movement within a 10-ft radius and emits a mechanical chime and flash for 1 minute when triggered. Can be silenced with a Tinker's Tools check ().
Miscellaneous1

A slender screwdriver with a handle that hums faintly. It believes in finishing the job.

Atk When used to make an attack, once per short rest it can attempt a precision turn: add + to the damage roll. When used as tools, grants +2 on checks to repair small mechanical objects.
Miscellaneous2

A crackling swirl of captive electricity sealed in a glass phial. Shakes faintly when someone nearby speaks loudly.

When thrown (range 20/60), shatters to deal lightning damage in a 5-ft radius ( Dex save for half). Single use.

A short, crystalline rod used to stabilize volatile spellcasting or power small devices.

When inserted into a single-operator magic item or spellcasting focus, grants +1 to spell save DC or attack rolls for a single spell cast. Single use; can be used to prevent a magic item from losing a charge once (DM discretion).
Miscellaneous1

A monocle-size glass lens on a silver rim that affords uncanny detail to the wearer.

While worn, grants advantage on Investigation and Perception checks to spot tiny or hidden mechanical components and traps. Once per day, can cast detect magic (self) for up to 10 minutes.
Miscellaneous1

A compact box of spring-driven parts and instructions. Assembles a tiny clockwork companion (sparrow-sized) that acts as a familiar for one caster who builds it.

AC +10Functions as the find familiar spell (only mechanical races of familiar forms available). Familiar is immune to poison and resistant to cold damage. Requires 8 hours and Tinker's Tools to assemble; consumes 50 gp worth of raw materials (sold separately).
Weapons1

A finely balanced dagger whose edge shivers with stored static. The metal has faint circuitry-like etchings.

Atk Deals an extra lightning damage once per turn when you hit. Has 3 charges; you can expend 1 charge to cast shocking grasp () from the dagger. Regains charges at dawn.
Miscellaneous1

A short cloak woven with shimmering filaments and tiny clockwork bobbles that blur the wearer's outline.

AC +1Grants +1 to AC (works like a +1 to defense) when the wearer is not wearing heavy armor. Once per long rest, the wearer can activate a shimmer that grants advantage on one Dexterity (Stealth) check.
Potions1

A clear vial that reforms blisters and dulls aching curses when drunk.

Functions as the lesser restoration spell when consumed (remove one disease or condition: blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned).
Miscellaneous1

A specially enchanted scroll with diagrams of micro-welding and rune-lattice repair. Useful for fixing magical items with non-destructive repairs.

When used by a spellcaster, allows casting mending as a cantrip that can restore one magical property to a broken minor magic item (DM adjudication required). If used by a non-caster, grants a tool-assisted mending attempt with advantage.
Miscellaneous2

Brimir will repair small mechanical/magical items, replace springs, reseal phials, and recalibrate runecircuits for common trinkets.

Takes 1 hour; limited to non-sentient devices and items worth under 100 gp. Magical items: cosmetic and minor functional repairs only (no restoration of destroyed enchantments without special materials).

Overnight extensive repairs and re-enchanting calibrations, includes limited magical diagnosis and attempts to restore up to one lost minor property.

Takes 8 hours and consumes up to 40 gp in components. For magical items, there is a 50% chance to reinstate a lost minor effect (DM rolls), otherwise the service reclaims components but does not repair.
Miscellaneous1

A fist-sized glass orb swirled with motes of light and a micro-lattice of gears inside. Brimir keeps it under a velvet cloth; it's usually a showpiece, not for casual sale.

Once per day, the Glimmersphere can cast faerie fire () centered on itself, or be thrown (range 20/60) and shatter to cast daylight in a 60-ft radius for 10 minutes. It hums and can act as a light source while carried.
Miscellaneous1

A palm-sized sphere covered in brass runes. It emits a deafening crack followed by a burst of static.

Thrown (range 20/60). On detonation, creatures in 10-ft radius must make a Constitution save or be stunned until the end of their next turn and take lightning damage (half on save, no stun). Single use.

Shop Atmosphere

Glimmer & Gear is cramped — every shelf groans with stacked cogs and jars of bottled lightning. Customers queue in a narrow alley outside when Brimir's 'open' sign (a spinning brass eye) turns. Brimir often hums while he works and keeps a clockwork ferret named Nettle that stealth-nicks small coins from distracted patrons (he reimburses with a wink). He insists on labeling each repaired item with a tiny brass rivet stamped with the shop sigil; he refuses to service items that smell of infernal oil or belong to anyone named 'Vex'. He offers a free cup of 'singe' tea to anyone waiting more than an hour.
