Shop Atmosphere
“The shop is lit by swinging oil lamps and dominated by a massive bellows and anvil at the back where Bryn works. Bryn hums an old dwarven hammer-song when concentrating and offers customers a free mug of bitter ale if they stay to listen to a tale of his forging mistakes. He insists on inspecting any returned weapon personally and refuses to sell enchanted items to those who cannot give him a 'good promise' of intent (a short, earnest explanation usually suffices). The front door always has a half-plate of chainmail nailed to it — "just in case," he says.”
