Brass gears and glass vials glint on every shelf; a steady hiss and the smell of oil and cedar fill the air. Aelion, an elegant elf with a half-lowered monocle, hums an old woodland tune while polishing weapons. He speaks in clipped, polite sentences but has a fondness for testing gadgets on volunteers — customers are sometimes asked to help prime a device before purchase. He keeps a sleeping mechanical raven that collects small lost coins and an ancient tree-engraved ledger where prices for favored regulars are sometimes discounted.”
