(12)A neatly balanced cutlass tempered in seawater and hammer-blows sung to old wrecking songs. A faint salt tang lingers on the blade.
A heavy-headed axe favored for cutting ropes and close-quarters boarding actions. Sharpened and weighted by a specialist smith.
A thin, curved blade favored by island corsairs; lighter than most cutlasses, designed for fast slashes and parries.
A black-iron prosthetic hand shaped into a sturdy grappling hook, fitted to lock and rotate with the wearer's forearm. Designed to replace a lost hand or be worn over an intact one for utility.
A brass-lined powderhorn engraved with a soaring albatross. Rains a steady, small spark of luck over the shot.
A breastplate hammered under lightning-struck anvils on the island's northern bluffs. Sea-honed and etched with tide marks.
Salt-weathered studded leather trimmed with brass bits. Light and flexible for deck fighting.
A compact iron reel with 50 ft of braided, tarred cord and a swiveling snap hook.
A long, brass spyglass treated to resist salt spray; comes with a leather slip and a tiny focusing wheel.
Small sealed charges that scatter iron slugs when fired from a blunderbuss or small swivel cannon. Marked and capped for safe carriage.
A roll of waxed twine, hardened needle, small blade, and a booklet of knot diagrams (harbor-approved).
A foul-smelling poultice sealed in a stoppered vial. Not a true potion, but effective after work on decks and ropes.

Shop Atmosphere
“The Rusted Hook smells of iron and salt; Marla keeps an old, surgically-adjusted bosun's bell behind the counter which she rings whenever she finishes a piece. She will haggle in fanfare — telling a seafaring tale before offering a discount — and insists customers trade a small island trinket (a coin, a feather, a shell) if they cannot pay full price. Marla is fiercely superstitious: she won't work on anything soaked in the blood of a kraken (or at least claims she won't), and every blade sold is struck once with a hammer dipped in 'luck-salt' (a blend of crushed shells and iron filings). She offers free fitting and one tune-up within a month; repairs are priced at 1 gp per hour of smithing + material cost.”
