Armor1

A well-stitched midnight-blue cloak embroidered with tiny, glinting runes. It functions as a normal Cloak of Protection but carries a mild curse: it occasionally whispers and tightens, producing awkward social or stealthy moments.

AC +1Cursed: once per day the cloak tightens and emits a low whisper that distracts the wearer. When this happens the wearer has disadvantage on one Stealth check or one Deception check (DM decides which) until the end of their next short rest.
Miscellaneous10

A supple circlet of woven silver filigree set with a single white opal. It gives the wearer a brightened mind but hides a tendency to 'skip' one necessary memory at inopportune times.

Cursed: once per long rest, when you rely on the headband for a major memory (recalling a complex formula, ritual step, or spell components), roll d6. On a 1 you blank for 1 minute and cannot recall that specific formula or ritual detail; you regain it after a short rest.

A smooth, slightly warm pearl threaded on a fine chain. It functions like a Pearl of Power but vibrates when its magic is called, sometimes ringing painfully for the user and nearby allies.

Cursed: when used to regain a spell slot, the pearl emits a high, keening tone. Creatures within 10 feet that can hear it must succeed on a Wisdom save or take psychic damage and have disadvantage on concentration checks for 1 round.

A thin band of dull silver etched with tiny arcane sigils. It holds spells as a normal Ring of Spell Storing but sometimes wastes one in an odd puff of smoke.

Cursed: once per dawn there is a 1 in 6 chance the ring 'leaks' one level of stored magic and casts the lowest-level stored spell randomly at a harmless nearby target or tile (DM chooses effect). The leak is minor but unpredictable and can waste stored magic.

A soft felt hat with a clever band. It changes appearance easily but stamps each disguise with a small, uncanny signature.

Cursed: disguises created by the hat include subtle, disconcerting details (a faint scent, an impossible gleam to the eyes). Observant creatures that study the wearer for a minute make a Insight check; on a failure they suspect something (disadvantage on Persuasion checks vs those creatures for 1 hour).

A palm-sized smoky glass orb that hums faintly. Useful for prying into minds but it steals a tiny bit of composure whenever employed.

Cursed: the orb whispers names and fragments of memories after use. The user must succeed on a Wisdom save or take 1 psychic damage and have disadvantage on Insight checks for 10 minutes.

A long black feathered quill with a nib that never blunts. Wizards prize it for quick transcription, but the quill sometimes jams in small, maddening ways.

Cursed: each time you copy a spell with the quill, roll d10. On a roll of 1 the quill miswrites a minor component: the scribed spell is recorded with a single harmless flaw that must be corrected (takes an hour and 5 gp in reagents) before the spell functions properly.

A slim, leather-bound book filled with marginal notes that echo the voices of previous owners. It willingly lends spells but takes a pinch of vitality in return.

Heal -1 HPCursed: each time the granted spell is cast, the attuned wielder loses 1 temporary hit point (or if none, 1 maximum hit point) until they finish a long rest. The hit point loss is small but cumulative while actively using the book.

A crystalline sliver warm to the touch but cold in memory. It stores petty magics for emergencies, at the cost of a lingering chill.

Cursed: while attuned the shard leaves a faint, cold burn on the skin that reduces healing received by 1 HP from mundane sources until the attunement ends.

A brass lantern with an inner glass that looks like captured dawn. It brightens gloom but draws a swarm of shimmering moths when used.

Cursed: the lantern attracts tiny spectral moths while lit. They do no damage but flutter around the user, imposing disadvantage on Stealth checks and granting advantage to ignore subtle illusions for creatures within 5 feet until the lantern is doused.

A palm-sized metal talisman engraved with a spiral sigil. It sharpens a caster's aim but sometimes bites back with a stinging mental recoil.

Atk Cursed: each time you cast a spell while using the sigil, roll d6. On a roll of 1 the sigil siphons a sliver of the caster's cognition: caster takes 1 psychic damage and has disadvantage on the next concentration check.
Weapons1

A polished ebony wand capped with a pale blue crystal. It fires accurate magic missiles but occasionally mishomes a bolt when pushed too hard.

Cursed: whenever you expend more than one charge at once, on a natural roll of 1 (d20) one missile may veer and strike the nearest creature other than your target (ally or foe), dealing the normal missile damage to that creature.

Shop Atmosphere

Every item in the shop is displayed behind panes of smoky glass and labeled in tidy, looping handwriting. Each object hums faintly and gives off an odd little puff of odor when handled. The proprietor refuses payment in coin from those who are uninvited; he prefers trade for 'curiosity' items or a promise to return broken things. Candles in the shop burn with different colors depending on which item you look at.
