Miscellaneous1

A palm-sized opal that winks with tiny pinpricks of white light. When set into a spellcasting focus, it steadies simple cantrips and grants a small protective shimmer.

When used as a spellcasting focus, the caster gains +1 to CON saving throws against effects that would temporarily disable concentration for 1 hour per day (doesn't stack with similar effects).
Miscellaneous1

A deep-red, teardrop garnet set in a small silver clasp. It glows faintly when hostile magic is aimed at its bearer.

AC +1Grants a bonus to AC against the first attack made by a creature that hits the wearer once per short rest. Additionally, if the wearer is targeted by a single-target hostile spell of 1st or 2nd level, they gain advantage on their saving throw once per day.
Miscellaneous2

A tiny globe containing a captive glowing mote. When activated it sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for another 20 feet for up to 1 hour. Recharges after 8 hours in daylight.

Produces light as per the light spell for 1 hour; usable once, then recharges in sunlight (8 hours) or by spending 10 minutes polishing with a gem-polish (cost 1 gp).

A pair of small black dice with inlaid silver numerals that glow faintly in moonlight. Mostly used for gambling or small charms.

No mechanical benefit by default, but Halima will attune them as a focus to grant advantage on one skill check once per day (attunement requires 1 hour).
Miscellaneous1

A palm-sized amber disc that faintly hums when gripped. Can send a short message to a known recipient once per day.

Once per day the holder can touch the gem and send a spoken message of up to 25 words to a creature the holder is familiar with anywhere on the same plane. The target hears the message in their mind and can reply (no magical link after).
Miscellaneous1

A thin aquamarine chip that pulses with the sound of distant waves. When kept in mouth or worn near the throat it eases breathing in water.

Allows the bearer to breathe underwater for up to 1 hour per day (can be split into shorter periods).
Miscellaneous1

A blue sapphire with internal concentric lines. When used with a spell slot, it can duplicate a single-target spell of 1st or 2nd level once.

As an action, while holding the shard and expending a 1st- or 2nd-level spell slot, you may create an echo that repeats that spell a second time (targets either the same target or another within range). The shard crumbles after use.
Miscellaneous1

A small opalescent bead that radiates warmth. When swallowed, it soothes wounds.

Heal 2 HPWhen consumed, it restores hit points (common / weak healing effect).
Miscellaneous1

A pale moonstone set in a fine bronze brooch. It grants limited protection from hostile spells and mental intrusion.

AC +2While worn, the bearer gains +2 to Wisdom saving throws against charm and fear effects once per long rest, and the first time each day they're targeted by a divination or scrying effect, the effect has a 50% chance to fail.
Miscellaneous1

A dark violet gem that tingles when handled. It stores a shock that can be released on a melee strike.

As a bonus action when attached to a weapon (takes 1 minute to attach), the next successful hit deals an extra lightning. Usable once, then the gem becomes dull glass.
Miscellaneous1

A flat, perfectly clear gem used like a monocle. Grants limited ability to see illusions and invisible creatures for a short time.

When peered through for up to 10 minutes total per day (can be in 1-minute increments), the user gains the effects of the see invisibility spell and the ability to automatically disbelieve illusions of 2nd level or lower. Recharge after a long rest.
Miscellaneous1

A small silk bag filled with 50 tiny polished semi-precious chips (quartz, garnet shards, polished obsidian). Good for use as spell components or trade.

Functionally mundane; can be used as spell components that don't have a gp cost or for bartering.
Miscellaneous1

A thin iron ring inlaid with a tiny red chip. Produces a controlled spark on command.

Once per short rest, the wearer can cause the ring to emit a controlled flame that lights torches or creates an ember no larger than 1-foot cube. If used to ignite combustible materials in melee, adds +1 fire damage (1 time).
Miscellaneous1

A deep purple amethyst polished into a sharp wedge. It offers brief, limited glimpses of a far place for a price.

Once per week, the holder can spend 10 minutes concentrating on the shard to receive a clear vision (like a very limited clairvoyance): up to a 60-foot cube within 1 mile. The shard cannot scry creatures blocked by solid rock or magical wards stronger than 3rd-level protection. After use, there is a 20% chance the shard draws the attention of an unseen watcher.
Miscellaneous1

A small kit containing cloths, oil, and minor runic paste to clean and maintain gemstones and settings.

When used on a nonmagical piece, restores a small cosmetic shine. When used on a magical gem, provides advantage on a single Arcana check to identify minor properties if the user is trained in Arcana.
Miscellaneous1

A small cloth sachet filled with salt and powdered herbs used to neutralize lingering curse filaments on gemstones.

When scattered around a single gemstone and left overnight, the sachet suppresses any 1st-level or lower curse effects on that gem for 24 hours (not a remove curse). Single use.
Miscellaneous1

A secure, warded slot in The Bright Shop's locked cabinets for storing valuable gemstones or trinkets overnight.

Includes basic warding that deters pickpocketing (mechanical: +5 DC to open without key; wards may alert Halima).

Shop Atmosphere

Halima insists on polishing any purchased gem in front of the buyer and telling a short (often long-winded) tale about its 'previous life' — some tales include suspiciously accurate details. She refuses to sell the shard or scrying items to those who can't provide a clear purpose and keeps a ledger of buyers; locals gossip that she trades information for rare stones.
