Inside, shelves rise in a warm honey-brown curve and every item is labeled in Mara Dellen's flowing script. The shop smells of beeswax, lemon, and dried herbs. Mara is a gregarious former traveling performer who retired from the road to sell gear and remedies. She knows a little gossip about every caravan in the region and will happily trade stories for a discount. She habitually sets a copper saucer of mint tea by the counter and will tuck a small strip of beeswax into customers' packs for free. Beware her ledger: she prefers bartering with favors for rare curios rather than parting with high-value magic for plain coin.
