Miscellaneous1

A full set of blacksmithing tools: hammer, tongs, files, rasps, bellows components and assorted pit tools in a leather roll. Dorin's pack is battered but impeccably maintained.

Items crafted/ repaired with these tools often carry Dorin's small rune stamp; items gain a reputation for durability.
Weapons5

A one-handed throwing axe, balanced and well set in a leather-wrapped haft. Dorin speaks to these before sending them out.

Thrown (range 20/60). Made to be reliably durable; unlikely to chip.

A shortsword with a subtly hammered fuller and a tiny runic mark at the guard — well balanced and keen.

Finesse. Slightly better-balanced for precise strikes; Dorin hums a phrase while forging each blade.

A sturdy longsword with a plain crossguard. Practical, efficient and built to last.

Versatile. Balanced for both cutting and thrusting.

A hefty warhammer with a stout haft. Dorin frequently murmurs encouragement into its grain before finishing.

Marked with a small dwarven rune near the head that Dorin applies to many of his best pieces; those runed items are famed for resisting damage and holding an edge.

A specialty throwing axe Dorin made patterned after a reed's bend — surprisingly accurate and balanced for returning throws.

Thrown (range 30/90). Dorin's micro-adjustments in fletching and weight make it fly truer than common blades.
Armor3

A standard wooden shield rimmed and reinforced with iron. Dorin's rune is stamped on the interior boss.

AC +2The rune reduces the chance of a shield breaking in heavy impacts (DM: grant advantage on a single Strength save to avoid having the shield destroyed once per day).

Studded leather with close stitching and reinforced studs — comfortable and made to measure by request.

AC +12Light armor: AC 12 + Dex modifier.

A supple chain shirt whose inner rings are burnished and pinned to minimize noise — suitable for scouts who want protection without encumbrance.

AC +13Medium armor: AC 13 + Dex modifier (max 2).
Miscellaneous1

Twenty wooden arrows with steel points. Dorin fits the fletching straight and true so they fly well.

Standard arrows; finely balanced for more consistent flight.
Miscellaneous2

Four iron horseshoes fitted to size and hammered to shape. Dorin will shoe a mount to order.

A small wooden box of black-forged nails. Useful for quick repairs and stakes.

Miscellaneous2

Quick professional sharpening, chamfering of edges and minor hammering to true an edge or haft.

Restores weapon to full function; can remove minor dents and reduce chance to lose critical effect (DM discretion).

Dorin will forge a custom simple weapon to order — extra for ornate designs, inlaid runes, or rush work.

Dorin often includes his small rune mark on commissioned pieces; runed items tend to be more durable and may be favored by locals.
Miscellaneous2

A fist-sized coal that smolders without flame and does not consume fuel. It gives off enough heat to warm a meal and can ignite kindling when pressed to it.

Common magical trinket: emits heat for up to 24 hours once 'lit' then requires an hour to 'recharge' while covered in ash. Can be used as a reliable fire source for campfires and smithing tinder (DM: may substitute for the Mending criterion for certain forging tasks).

A rare example of Dorin's more personal work: a warhammer etched with line-work runes, weighted and tempered beyond the common smithing craft.

Atk Uncommon magic: +1 to attack and damage rolls. The rune in the head strengthens resistance to damage and, once per day, the wielder can gain advantage on a Strength saving throw to avoid having the weapon broken or knocked from their hand (DM adjudicated).
Potions1

A thick paste Dorin uses to shore up cracked leather and seal small fissures in metal. It smells faintly of coal and iron.

When applied and left to set for 1 hour, the salve restores an object to functional condition and can repair up to the equivalent of 1 HP worth of structural damage to mundane armor or weapons (DM interprets exact effect).

Shop Atmosphere

Dorin is a disciplined, proud, and traditional dwarf who prefers the anvil to conversation. He sometimes talks to the items he makes — often muttering practical encouragements or a quiet blessing — and swears they listen. Every item he forges bears a small, almost-hidden personal rune that reflects what Dorin thought the client needed (protection, endurance, swiftness). He keeps a strict work schedule, values honest trade and hard work, and will haggle only if he respects the customer's purpose. He rarely sells his runed magical pieces and does so only to those he judges honest or necessary; he'll repair items for cheaper if you bring a story of true need.
