Shop Atmosphere

The shop sits in a ring of living willows inside Elyndra's courtyard; lanterns glow with captured moth-light. Elyndra tends each item like a guest—she remembers buyers' names, asks after their trees, and will trade lower prices for favors to the forest (saplings, rare herbs, stories of places). She prefers polite conversation and dislikes loud bargains; if insulted she will refuse to sell certain rarer items. Occasionally a faint chitter of faerie laughter can be heard from a jar on the highest shelf—Elyndra claims it's the ‘shop's mood’ and refuses to open the jar herself.
