Single casting of fireball (3rd-level). Creatures in area must make a Dex save for half.

Paper wrapped in wax bearing remedial runes; useful for curing afflictions.

Single casting of lesser restoration.

A short wand of blackened steel with a ruby tip that sparks each time it fires.

Has 7 charges. Casts Magic Missile at varying levels (1-3 darts at first-level, more when using additional charges). Regains charges at dawn. If reduced to 0 charges, there's a 20% chance it crumbles.

A heavy iron ring inset with a dull sapphire; faintly warm to the touch.

Stores spells (up to 5 levels total). Currently holds Shield (1st) and Blur (2nd). Stored spells can be cast by the wearer without using their own slots.

A finely balanced hammer used by Thorkun himself for delicate inlay and mithral work. Runes along the haft shimmer when used properly.

Grants advantage on Smith's tools checks and a bonus to DC reduction for forging or repairing magical metal items. Can be used as a +0 hammer in combat.

A fist-sized coal encased in a glass phial; when broken onto a weapon it infuses a single +1 enchantment for 24 hours.

One-time use: apply to a non-magical weapon to grant +1 to attack and damage for 24 hours. Alternatively can recharge a temporary rune.

A thin scroll whose script rearranges itself when approached by magic.

Casts identify when read. Useful for appraising runic items and traps.

Once per day, the holder can send a short message (up to 25 words) to the paired stone's user as if using sending. Each stone holds one recipient per attunement.

A canvas satchel full of chalk, incense, salt, and simple reagents. Replaced monthly to ensure potency.

Contains components for spells with no costly material components. Useful for everyday spellcasting.

A ritual scroll in dwarven runes that grants advantage on smithing a single item when performed at an anvil and with the right coal.

When the ritual is performed (takes 1 hour at a forge), the smith gains advantage on the single craft check and reduces required gold/time by 20%.

A battered wooden crate of small, inexpensive magical utilities: soot bombs (1-use), rune chalk (3 uses), and minor beads that glow on command.

Soot bombs create a 5-foot cloud of smoke for 1 round (concealment). Rune chalk marks glow for 1 hour. Beads provide dim light for 6 hours.
Armor2

A heavy wool cloak with tiny inlaid runes along the hem that glow softly when danger nears.

AC +1Wearer gains bonus to AC and saving throws while attuned.

A chain shirt hammered from adamantine links, each ring engraved with a tiny ward rune to absorb violent flaws.

While wearing this armor, critical hits against the wearer count as normal hits (no extra critical damage). The adamantine is polished to a dull gunmetal sheen.
Weapons2

A stout warhammer hammered from deep-vein iron, stamped with Embercarver runes. Perfectly balanced for both swing and throw.

Atk Grants +1 to attack and damage rolls. The runes glow faintly when near constructs or stonework.

A legendary dwarven thrower with an iron head that hums when grasped. Forged in Gauntlegrym fires and tempered with rune-iron.

Atk When thrown at giants, this weapon deals +3 to attack and damage, and returns to the wielder's hand. Otherwise functions as a +1 weapon. Requires attunement by a creature of Dwarven lineage or someone who has performed a smithing rite with the weapon.

Shop Atmosphere

Thorkun insists on stamping every sold item with his personal 'Ember' rune — a mark he claims binds the buyer to Gauntlegrym's trade laws. He hums an old forging chant when negotiating prices and measures coin by the weight of a silver hammer token (customers accustomed to coin values find this amusing). The shop smells of coal, oiled leather and mineral spice; a small, ever-smoldering forge sits in back where Thorkun will re-runes or attune items for a fee. He refuses to sell Dwarven Throwers to those who cannot name a family forge or who sneer at Gauntlegrym's traditions.
