Finn Goodbar
Shop Atmosphere
“The Common Crate is a snug, well-lit shop on the corner of Market Lane. Shelves are labeled in a tidy, slightly crooked hand and the air smells faintly of pine sap and stew. Finn Goodbar greets every customer with a small bow, a quick joke, and an archive of travel stories. He keeps a chalkboard behind the counter listing 'Today's Tips' — a note of safe paths, bandit warnings, and prices he personally vouches for. Finn will barter small services (mending boots, tying rope) in exchange for exotic goods or useful tales; he's also prone to slipping a free torch or ration to an obviously hard-pressed adventurer. A brass bell above the door jingles twice: once for guests, once for gossip.”
