A stout iron lantern with extra-fine glass and a goblin-oil reservoir. Resistant to cracking and dim glow filter for claustrophobic caverns.

Provides bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. Resistant to crushing and nonmagical heat; takes double damage from acid.

A dark, viscous liquid distilled from bioluminescent fungus and iron-rich seep water. Used as a night-coolant and for minor alchemical tasks.

When poured on a 5-ft area, it suppresses bright light to dim light for 1 minute (useful to hide light sources). Additionally, when applied to metal, grants temporary resistance to rust and corrosion for 24 hours.

Torches treated with powdered firestone; burn steadier and cut through murk with a reddish glow.

Each torch provides bright light for 1 hour in a 20-foot radius, dim for another 20 feet. The flame is smoky and leaves a faint iron scent.

A lightweight net woven from iron-fiber threads and set with small iron nibs. Once thrown and secured, microspines bite the stone to anchor it.

When thrown and weighted down, the net adheres to rough stone surfaces for up to 1 hour, creating a secure foothold or an improvised barrier ( Athletics or Acrobatics to climb or remove).

Powdered, enchanted calcite mixed with a trace of duergar enchantment. Cleared through nose and eyes by specialists (Khalril includes a single-use applicator).

When applied, grants True Seeing (as a limited version) against creatures and objects concealed by stone, non-magical illusions in stone, or typical underdark visual obfuscations for 10 minutes. Does not grant full True Seeing against creatures hidden by magic greater than 2nd level.

Fine dust that polishes metal surfaces to a glossy sheen and temporarily wards against tarnish.

When applied to a metal weapon or piece of armor, grants +1 to Charisma (Persuasion) checks involving showing the item for 1 day (reflective, impresses buyers).

A reusable mechanical spring used to set small snares or trigger mechanisms. Solid brass with duergar-crafted tolerances.

Used as a component for setting mechanical traps; grants +2 to DC of a mechanical trap's trigger if properly installed by someone proficient with thieves' tools.

A preserved, single glowcap in a jar. Can be jarred and placed to give a soft, bluish light.

Provides dim light in a 10-foot radius for 8 hours. If crushed, emits a flash of bright light for 1 round (save Con to avoid being dazzled).

Simple padded earplugs set in a leather band studded with tiny iron beads. Dampens high-frequency rumble found in deep tunnels.

Grants advantage on Constitution saves against deafening cave noises and resistance to thunder damage equal to for up to 1 hour when worn.

A small tin containing preserved rock rat meat. Filling and familiar to those who live under the earth.

Provides one day's worth of rations for an individual; taste is metallic but calorically dense.

Short, rough-cut stone-tipped bolts for crossbows. Cheaper than metal-tipped but effective in tight caves.

Deal bludgeoning/piercing depending on bolt use; may break on strong armor (DM discretion).

A small patch stamped with a duergar rune. When affixed to a nonmagical item, it temporarily mutes small amounts of light and sound.

When applied to clothing or a container, the wearer gains advantage on Stealth checks relying on darkness for 1 hour (single use).

A portable slate, charcoal, and measuring tools specific to underdark surveying. Includes templates for common mineral seams.

Grants a bonus to checks made to survey or plan a tunnel when used by someone proficient with cartographer or artisan tools.
Weapons3

A balanced handaxe with a flanged, blunt-backed head of iron alloy and a hollowed pommel for weight tuning. Popular among underdark miners for close defense.

Weighted design grants +1 to damage when thrown by creatures used to stonework (DM discretion).

A miner's pick sharpened and balanced for both stonework and emergency combat. The head is reinforced with a braided iron seam.

Functions as a tool for mining (granting +2 to checks when used by proficient miners) and as a reliable weapon.

A short sword of well-forged steel with a faint dusky hue. Balanced for thrusting and quick defense.

+1 to attack rolls against creatures that rely on darkvision when the wielder is in bright light (reflecting duergar hatred of surface brightness).
Armor1

A finely riveted chain shirt with additional plating at vulnerable joints. Darkened finish helps it hide in shadowy tunnels.

AC +13Matte-black finish grants advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks when in dim light or darkness (one use per short rest to re-oil).
Potions2

A murky gray potion brewed with translucent fungi and crushed batgills. Restores sustained breathing capacity in foul air.

When consumed, grants the effects of the 'Water Breathing' spell for 1 hour, but only for creatures of Small or Medium size and consumes a faint psychic price (minor disadvantage on the next Wisdom save made within 1 hour due to claustrophobic aftertaste).

A gritty, iron-laced salve in a tin. Not pleasant tasting, but effective for bleeding in stone wounds.

Heal 1 HPHeals hit points when applied (action). Can be applied to stabilize a creature automatically (no roll).

Shop Atmosphere

Khalril distrusts bright colors—items with gilding or colorful gems get a 10% surcharge unless the buyer removes/consigns them for polishing. He quotes prices in 'coin value' but prefers trades in ore, enchanted components, or labor; haggling down is expected for surface-born buyers. He always offers a free cup of bitter 'stonebrew' to anyone who will listen to his stories of collapsing tunnels and who brings a scrap of surface cloth as proof they're not drow.
