Weapons4

A heavy, well-balanced greataxe with runes that pulse when blood is spilled. It grants solid cutting power and a faint hum of vitality. The axe grows dear to its wielder and drives them into frenzied rage when wounded.

Atk When you take damage, you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or go berserk, attacking the nearest creature each round until no creatures are within 60 feet.

A brilliantly polished longsword whose blade seems to thirst for retribution. Attractive and well balanced, it whispers at the back of the wielder's mind.

Atk While on your person you must succeed on a Wisdom save when damaged or be forced to attack the creature that damaged you until it or you drop to 0 HP.

A heavy greataxe whose edge seethes with embers that never go out. Looks perfectly balanced and deadly in any forearm.

Atk On a hit this weapon deals an extra fire damage. Curse: while attuned the wielder takes cold damage equal to whenever exposed to freezing conditions and has vulnerability to cold while attuned.

A flawless forging hammer with temper lines that glow faintly. It balances like it was always meant to be held.

Atk When used in smithing it grants advantage on one proficiency check per day. Curse: the wielder gains an obsessive compulsion to work with the hammer. While attuned, the user must spend at least one hour of downtime each day tending metal or suffer a cumulative -1 penalty to concentration checks until they perform the hour.
Armor4

A gleaming set of plate, seamless and cold, inlaid with tiny black veins. It seems to shrug off certain blows while inviting others.

Attunement reveals the curse. Removing the armor does not end the curse; only Remove Curse or similar magic can.

A polished heater shield whose boss bears the carved figure of a drawn bow. It hums faintly whenever arrows fly.

AC +2Cursed: while attuned, any ranged attack targeting a creature within 10 feet instead targets you.

Blackened plate baring clawed gauntlets, filigree like burning sigils. It whispers in a tongue that tastes of brimstone.

AC +1Cursed: once donned you cannot doff without Remove Curse. Disadvantage on attacks against demons and on saves against demon abilities.

Dark-lacquered chain with an oily sheen. It fits as if tailored to the wearer's form and hums sympathetically when struck.

Curse: the armor bonds with the wearer; the wearer cannot remove it without Remove Curse, and gains disadvantage on Stealth checks and Wisdom saving throws while worn.
Miscellaneous4

A supple leather sack with a hungry seam. To the eye it looks serviceable, but the interior seems colder than it should be.

Objects placed inside risk being destroyed or sent to another plane. If a living creature is drawn in, it must succeed on a Strength check to escape.

A supple black quiver, stitched with a feather motif that seems to twitch when you are not looking.

Generates nonmagical arrows at dawn. Curse: any bird or flying predator within 1 mile senses the quiver and will attempt to steal or attack to claim it once per day.

A smooth whetstone that takes an edge in a single stroke. It smells faintly of ozone and old blood.

Every time you sharpen a blade it becomes razor-sharp. Curse: once used the owner becomes obsessed with sharpening that blade and must succeed on a Wisdom save to stop sharpening for more than 10 minutes; failure wastes downtime and produces no mechanical benefit beyond polish.

Polished tongs that fit a hand as if made of bone. Comfortable to grip but unnervingly warm.

Grants advantage on Smith's Tools checks once per short rest. Curse: the tongs cling to the user's hand when heated; while clinging the user has disadvantage on Dexterity checks and attacks made with that hand until Remove Curse is cast or the tongs are cooled and mechanically pried free with a Strength check.

Shop Atmosphere

The shop's bell rings twice when a customer enters. Sparks drift upward from the forge and settle as black motes. Every item is displayed impeccably and buffed to a shine. At closing the anvil sometimes whispers names, and the shopkeeper keeps a ledger of 'debts repaid' that contains odd dates and single words.
