A warm, rosy liquid that mends splinters and skinned knees. Frequently labeled with a cheerful sticker that says 'Band-aid in a Bottle.'

Heal 2 HPStandard potion of healing (use action to regain hit points). Sometimes the bottle burps after use (no mechanical effect).

A clear, lemon-scented draught that neutralizes most common venoms. It pops loudly when uncorked.

Gives advantage on saving throws against poison for 1 hour; neutralizes poison already ingested when used as specified in Antitoxin rules.

A neon blue potion that cures normal hiccups...but may grant you hiccups if used by someone already cured.

Cures mundane hiccups. If used on a creature without hiccups, the user gains harmless hiccups for minutes (speech checks have disadvantage).

A pale, effervescent potion that sharpens the mind for a short span, with a faint whine like a tuning fork as you drink.

Functions as a single-use Potion of Faerie Fire: illuminates creatures in a 20-ft cube for 1 minute; outlined creatures gain advantage on attacks against them.

A syrupy amber drink that makes the drinker grow inches taller for 10 minutes. Comes with a tiny measuring tape.

Grants +1 to reach-based checks and slight bonus to Intimidation for the duration. Clothing may strain.

One sip and your arrival is heralded by a single theatrical puff of smoke and a faint trumpet fanfare only you hear.

Once consumed, the first time you enter a room within the next hour all allies within 10 ft gain +1 to morale checks (roleplay/DM-defined) and enemies react with mild confusion (grant DM a tiny roleplaying cue).

A bright green potion that makes the drinker's next spoken sentence come out backwards (semantically reversed), often with comical consequences.

The next full sentence spoken by the drinker in the next 10 minutes is transformed: words come out in reversed order and some consonants beep (DM decides intelligibility). This may be used creatively or to comedic effect; does not mechanically alter spells unless the player roleplays it and DM allows.

A small amber vial containing concentrated relaxing tea. Lowers stress, helps sleep and reduces one level of exhaustion for one use (DM discretion).

When consumed, grants advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks for 10 minutes if the consumer takes a short rest afterwards. Can remove one level of exhaustion if drunk during a short rest and followed by 1 hour of restful activity (DM adjudicates).

The Smoking Cauldron is delightfully chaotic: shelves are labeled with outrageous puns, a sleepy toad named 'Soot' naps in a terrarium and occasionally offers unsolicited stock tips, and every purchase comes with Magister Alatar's theatrical sales pitch (he insists on a one-line rhyme). Some potions have mild, humorous side effects (hiccups, glitter, dramatic hair) about 25% of the time — nothing lethal, purely comedic. Bargaining is encouraged; Alatar sometimes 'misprices' an item for a laugh, and he'll swap a free vial of soot-scented 'confidence' if you tell him a good joke.
