A long, cold-blued longsword with crimson veins that pulse faintly. Tempered in moon-salt and a drop of the smith's own vitae, it hums in the dark.

Atk On a hit, deals an extra necrotic once per turn. When you reduce a creature to 0 HP with this blade, you regain hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt. Requires attunement.

A full plate of midnight-lacquered steel whose joints hum with tiny neon filaments; storm-chains and barnacle motifs mark its plates.

AC +2Grants a bonus to AC. While attuned and worn, you have resistance to necrotic damage and advantage on saving throws against being frightened. Integrated neon can be dimmed or made blinding for 1 minute once per long rest. Requires attunement.

A light chain shirt wired with tiny neon fibers. It hums faintly to the touch and never clings wet to the skin.

AC +1Counts as a +1 chain shirt. The faint glow removes any attack disadvantage imposed by dim light. Requires attunement.

A bundle of ten crossbow bolts tipped with a smoky, ectoplasm-like resin that glows faintly in the dark.

Bolts deal an extra necrotic damage on hit. Magical in nature and ignore resistance to nonmagical attacks. No attunement required.

Heal 7 HPRestores hit points when consumed (average 7). For the next hour, once per turn when you deal piercing or slashing melee damage you regain 1 additional hit point. Common/Uncommon-tier potion.

A leather-and-steel gauntlet with a locking palm and microtendons to assist grips. Neon seams trace its fingers.

Grants advantage on grappling checks and a bonus to Athletics checks made to grapple or hold a creature once per short rest for 1 minute. The gauntlet also contains a tiny ring to attach a short tether.

A slender filament of bloodsilver and neon, inscribed with tiny clockwork runes. Meant to be embedded into a weapon's core by a skilled smith.

Atk When installed by Lucien, the weapon gains +1 to attack rolls and deals an extra necrotic damage for 24 hours. Installation consumes 24 hours and costs an additional 500 gp in labor. Installation can be made permanent only by extraordinary ritual (price and time vary).

Shop Atmosphere

Open only after dusk — the shop shutters click open to the sound of distant foghorns. Inside, the Neon Anvil is lit by bright, saturated lamps (magenta, teal, and blood-red) that make every polished surface shimmer. Lucien works to a playlist of warped sea shanties and synth undertones. The shop smells of salt, hot iron, and a faint sweetness like claret. Bargaining often takes the form of 'favors' as well as coin: Lucien will accept rare coastal wares, the teeth of deep-sea predators, or a dependable night-watch in lieu of part payment. He dislikes unnatural daylight (windows shutter automatically at sunrise) and will refuse work that intentionally slays innocents — though he regards debt and secrecy as transactional. Regular customers leave a small token (a chipped glass bead) in a dish by the counter to signal safe business without prying eyes.
