Grants darkvision out to 60 feet for 1 hour. Works on creatures that do not already have darkvision.

A pale green serum that leaves a faint metallic taste. Shields thoughts for a short time.

For 1 hour, the drinker's thoughts are unintelligible by telepathy and they can't be detected by magic that reads thoughts; if reduced to 0 HP the effect ends.

A tightly rolled parchment etched with cold iron ink. Single-use offensive spell scroll.

Casts Magic Missile (1st-level). Usable by characters with the spell on their spell list; others must make an Arcana check ( + spell level).

A thin ring with an engraved feather. Automatically activates when the wearer falls.

When the wearer falls, they fall at a rate of 60 feet per round and take no falling damage (functions like the spell Feather Fall).

A plain-looking canvas sack that opens to a cavernous extradimensional space.

Holds up to 500 lb, not exceeding a volume of 64 cubic feet. Retrieving items requires searching; inserting sharp objects can tear the interior space.

Has 7 charges. You can expend charges to cast scorching ray (2 charges, casts as 2nd-level) or burning hands (1 charge). Regains charges daily at dawn. If reduced to 0 charges there's a 20% chance it cracks and becomes non-magical.

A well-balanced steel blade rimed with faint runic lines.

Atk Basic +1 weapon; no other enchantments. Requires attunement by a creature that can wield it.

A bronze horn carved with a snarling face. Only usable a few times safely.

When blown, it emits a thunderous blast; creatures within 30 ft must make a Constitution save or suffer full damage and be deafened for 1 minute. The horn has a limited number of uses (3); each use has a 1-in-6 chance of bursting and destroying the horn.

A maple staff crowned with a smoky quartz. Bolsters a young caster's repertoire.

Atk Functions as a +1 quarterstaff. Once per day the wielder can cast shield (as a 1st-level reaction) or chromatic orb (1st-level) without expending a spell slot. Requires attunement by a spellcaster.

The Gilded Grimoire is run by Maris Vellant as proprietor but staffed by a rotating trio: an elderly gnome artificer (Tibben Quickcoil) who refurbishes devices, a blunt human ex-sorcerer (Dara Keel) who manages trade secrecy, and a soft-spoken kenku scribe (Ink) who crafts scrolls. The shop keeps a visible ledger of morally dubious items they won't sell (list posted by the counter). Haggling is accepted but Maris insists on honesty—if you lie to her ledger, she makes a note and private enchantments become more expensive for repeat offenders. The shop smells of old paper, ozone, and spiced tea; coins sometimes ring oddly when dropped into Maris's brass till (the till is rumored to be enchanted to detect counterfeit coin).
