Potions6

The most common restorative potion, a clear, rosy liquid in a small glass phial.

Heal 7 HPWhen drunk, restores hit points. Administering to another creature requires an action.

A slightly viscous, amber potion that warms the throat and knits flesh faster than a common draught.

Heal 14 HPWhen drunk, restores hit points.

Layers of brown, silver, and gray suspended in a stout bottle that looks like sedimented stone.

Grants a climbing speed equal to your walking speed and advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to climb for 1 hour.

A red-gold potion that hisses faintly when uncorked; the stopper smells faintly of ash.

Each exhalation forces a target in a 15-foot cone to make a Dexterity saving throw, taking fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on success. Effect ends after three uses or 1 hour.

A sweet-smelling amber potion flecked with tiny motes that swirl like hay in sunlit barns.

When consumed, lets the drinker cast the animal friendship spell (no concentration) for 1 hour. Affected creatures can still repeat their saves as the spell dictates.

A cooling blue draught Mira sells to peasants and scouts, sharper than tea but easier on coin than full healing potions.

Heal 4 HPHeals hit points when consumed. Mildly calming; grants advantage on Wisdom saving throws against being frightened for 10 minutes.
Miscellaneous7

A small glass vial filled with a greenish, bitter liquid used to protect against venoms.

Grants advantage on saving throws against poison for 1 hour when consumed. No benefit to undead or constructs.

A squat clay flask sealed with wax; its contents sputter and hiss when the seal is cracked.

Thrown weapon. On a hit the target is set alight and takes fire damage at the start of each of its turns until the fire is put out. A creature can use an action to make a Dexterity check to extinguish the flames.

A fragile vial of bubbling green acid, useful for dissolving locks, rust, or ill-placed plating.

Thrown like an improvised weapon; on hit the target takes acid damage.

A plain glass bottle with a cork stopper, handy for carrying your own concoctions or waterskin refills.

A tiny phial of silvery dust that crackles when shaken; used like a torch without the smoke.

When uncorked and shaken briefly it gives off bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet for 1 hour.

A sticky brown sap in a lacquered pot, used by hunters and trapmakers to slow quarry.

When spread on the ground, creatures that enter the area or start their turn there must succeed on a Strength (Athletics) check or have their movement halved until the start of their next turn. Easily washed away with water.

Small packets of crushed roots, powdered petals, and neutralizing salts for the apprentice alchemist or enterprising rogue.

Useful for crafting common potions; tradeable and sometimes sold by the vial to apprentices.

Shop Atmosphere

The shop sits under a leaning awning on a narrow lane of the market district. Shelves behind the counter are a jigsaw of labeled phials and corked flasks, some softly glowing, others emitting a faint, pleasant steam. The air smells of honey, citrus peel, and a faint tang of brimstone. The proprietor keeps a small battered mortar and pestle on the counter and a tame ferret named Pickle that curls up in the register drawer. Mira Fen likes to test new mixtures on herself, which explains the pale scar along her forearm that occasionally blooms with phosphorescent freckles when she laughs. She offers a small discount to farmers and guards and will barter small favors for stock; she records owed favors in a ledger bound with a pressed violet.
