Shop Atmosphere
“The shop is run by a wiry half-elf named Jorrel, with his tiefling wife Maris tending the blazing forge. Jorrel whistles old elven tunes while he polishes blades. Maris keeps a small charcoal brazier in which a harmless blue flame always burns. They accept coin, trade, or labor in exchange for wares; if you offer to smith a piece of gear yourself she will haggle the price down. The anvil bears faint runes that glow when a magic item is being worked. Customers are offered a tiny smoked pepper biscuit while they wait.”
