Shop Atmosphere
“Mariel hums an old royal lullaby while brewing; she offers a free cup of 'warmed residue' (a nonmagical restorative tea) to anyone who buys 3+ items. She refuses to sell potent potions to anyone who smells of strong alcohol or who refuses to show their hands (she wants to see they have no obvious curses or gang tattoos). On market days she runs a 'copper bottle' raffle: drop a copper coin into the jar and possibly receive a random common potion (winner drawn at dusk).”
