Weapons2

A finely balanced steel longsword with a keen edge and a crossguard etched with branching runes. Masterwork quality (+1 to attack rolls vs. a non-masterwork weapon).

Atk Masterwork: +1 to attack rolls (does not stack with enhancement bonuses).

A sturdy battleaxe with a darkened haft and a razor edge forged for repeated battlefield blows.

Atk Masterwork quality (+1 to attack rolls vs. non-masterwork).
Miscellaneous3

A longsword that hums faintly. Its blade is true and seems to strike with a little more force than mundane steel.

Atk +1 enhancement to attack and damage (counts as +1 weapon).

A battleaxe whose edge occasionally flickers with actual flame. The blade leaves scorch marks on struck surfaces.

Atk Counts as a +2 equivalent weapon (base +1 enhancement + flaming property). Adds +1 to attack/damage from enhancement and deals + fire as the flaming property (weapon-equivalent cost bundled).

A finely honed dagger whose edge seems unnaturally sharp. Creatures sometimes feel a small, precise sting when struck.

Atk +1 enhancement and has the keen property (treated as a higher-cost property; increases critical threat range).
Armor1

A flexible shirt of interlocking rings, polished to reduce snagging. Comfortable under a cloak.

AC +4Masterwork: considered masterwork armor for enchantment prerequisites.
Miscellaneous1

A chain shirt with rings that glint with a faint magical sheen. It feels reassuringly solid without being heavy.

AC +5+1 enhancement to armor bonus; reduces chance to be critically hit by a very small margin.
Miscellaneous1

A heavy, rimmed steel shield reinforced with rivets and a leather grip. Balanced to allow aggressive shield bashes.

AC +2Masterwork shield: better fit and durability; prerequisite for magical augmentation.
Potions2

A small glass phial with warm, golden liquid. Heals minor cuts and bruises when imbibed.

Heal 1 HPRestores HP (standard Cure Light Wounds potion effect).

A vial of shimmering, soothing liquid that knits flesh and eases pain.

Heal 2 HPRestores HP (standard Cure Moderate Wounds potion effect).
Miscellaneous1

A chain shirt forged of mithral: light as leather but far more protective. It almost seems to hum with the metal's cold luster.

AC +5Counts as one armor category lighter for movement and encumbrance; masterwork by nature of mithral.
Miscellaneous5

A bundle of twenty arrows with straight shafts, feathered precisely and heads hardened to a fine point.

Atk Masterwork arrows grant +1 to attack with bows.

Riveted iron horseshoes fitted to a mount, balanced to prevent hoof damage.

A dense stone for keeping blades keen. Brom keeps a basket of them by the counter.

Basic maintenance item; regular use prevents penalties from dull weapons.

A set of professional smithing tongs, hammers, and pincers—well-made and balanced.

Spare crossbow string replacements and bundles of bolts kept in a locked chest.

Miscellaneous1

On-site sharpening, minor repairs, and maintenance. Brom can re-edge weapons, mend minor armor damage, and resew grips.

Repairs restore structural HP; major reconstruction by commission.
Miscellaneous1

Brom will craft a custom non-magical masterwork weapon to the customer's specifications. Time varies by complexity (2–14 days).

Atk Can include minor personal touches—engraving, special grips, balance adjustments.

Shop Atmosphere

Brom is obsessively punctual — if he gives a time for a commissioned weapon, he'll deliver within a day of that time, or he'll throw in free sharpening. He hums old dwarven hammer-songs while he works and refuses to sell an enemy's crest or banner forged into a weapon (he considers it dishonorable), though he will etch a customer's symbol for a modest fee. He often offers a 'test strike' on an old stump to demonstrate a blade; the stump is now infamous in town for having an extensive collection of neatly cut marks.
