The back room is fitted with a false oven door and a bench full of safehouse maps. She insists on wrapping messages in cinnamon paper — it hides scent for tracking hounds. Hollis will barter favors or rumors in lieu of gold for trusted Harpers; strangers may find the shopfriendlier than the city at large, but she quietly screens customers and will refuse sale of certain items (lockpicks, satchel compartments, or multiple potions) to those she doesn't trust.
