A small glass vial of luminous, self-refreshing ink favored for notes that must never fade. Nonmagical text written with it resists age and water, and notes glow faintly in dim light.

Text written resists water and time; faint glow provides dim light in a 5 ft radius when intentionally activated (1 minute). Recharges once per day at dawn.

A finely barbed feather that turns spoken words into neat script. Use as a tool: while holding the quill and concentrating, you can transcribe speech quickly — up to 1 page per minute.

When used to copy spells into a spellbook, reduces time by half and requires no material costs (still requires costly components if the spell needs them). Can take dictation of up to 10 minutes of speech once per long rest.

A bound book of crisp pages suitable for recording spells and notes. Durable binding and small arcane warding to prevent accidental ink spills.

Contains ruled spaces and marginalia cues that give a bonus to Arcana checks made to recall written spells while holding the book.

A single-use scroll containing a cantrip. The caster can read and cast the cantrip once; if the user's class spell list doesn't include the spell, an Arcana check is required.

Single-use. Available cantrip variety changes weekly (ask shopkeeper).

A one-use practical scroll containing a 1st-level spell. Useful for emergencies or teaching demonstrations.

If the spell is on the user's class list, it casts as written. Otherwise make Arcana check to use it.

A valuable instructional scroll containing a 3rd-level spell. Often used as a teaching aid or for big breakthrough moments in study.

If the spell is not on the user's list, Arcana check required. Examples in stock: fireball, lightning bolt (rare), haste (occasionally).

A stick of ever-sharp white chalk used to draw temporary sigils and diagrams. Marks vanish cleanly after an hour.

Drawn diagrams grant a bonus to a single ritual or research attempt if the ritual makes use of planar or symbolic components. Chalk regenerates after midnight.

An enchanted inkwell that duplicates nonmagical text placed into it, producing a perfect copy after 10 minutes.

Copies one page at a time; magic inscriptions or scrolls are rejected. Three uses per day.

A small wooden stamp engraved with tidy glyphs used by tutors to mark work. When pressed with a drop of Ever-ink it produces a temporary glowing grade visible only to the owner.

Marks grant the recipient a +1 morale bonus to ability checks related to the stamped subject for 24 hours (once per day).

A small brass bell used to signal the start of lessons or to call assistants. When rung, produces a harmless shimmer that gently nudges inattentive minds.

All creatures within 30 ft who fail a Wisdom saving throw are lightly distracted and suffer disadvantage on Stealth for 1 round. Good for crowd control in lecture halls. Recharges on a short rest.

A small, heavily annotated manual containing practice exercises and a single-use minor teleportation formula scripted on a sealed page.

Once read and expended, allows the caster to use misty step without expending a spell slot. The book's sealed page fades afterward.

Plain paper for exercises, copying, and doodling during lectures.

None.

A small kit containing chalk, iron filings, a pinch of powdered salt, a pinch of brimstone, and a vial of common oil — enough for several simple rituals and demonstrations.

Supplies are mundane; kit will last about 10 miniature rituals.
Potions2

A small crystalline vial containing red liquid that heals wounds when drunk.

Heal 2 HPHeals HP when consumed (standard D&D 5e potion of healing).

A stronger healing draught for more serious injuries.

Heal 3 HPHeals HP when consumed (potion of greater healing).
Miscellaneous3

A palm-sized smoky glass orb used by students revising complex spells. When held, it clears minor distractions.

Grants advantage on concentration checks and Intelligence (Arcana) checks to recall spell details for up to 1 hour. Usable once per long rest.

A sturdy leather satchel with many labeled compartments and a faint seam of warded stitching. Designed for carrying books, ink, and alchemical reagents safely.

Functions as a Bag of Holding (Type I capacity): 2500 lb capacity, max weight 250 lb before strain. Adds a +1 to Sleight of Hand or Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) checks to retrieve the correct item from a labeled compartment when the user prepares for it.

A polished silver mirror that allows short-range scrying useful for note review and remote observation of a whiteboard.

As the clairvoyance spell but limited to a 120-ft range and usable once per long rest. The image appears as faint writing across the mirror's surface.
