Marrek habitually flicks a coin between two fingers (hence 'Two-Fingers') and speaks with a calm, oily charm; he's prone to lowering prices if you look nervous or distracted. He keeps a ledger in which some item entries are coded — ask for it and he'll deflect unless you earn his trust. He offers a 'no questions asked' appraisal for traded goods but will always try to pair you with a 'more suitable' buyer in the back alley (never the front room). The shop smells faintly of smoke and rosewater; on quiet nights you can hear hushed deals through the thin walls.
