Weapons5

A longsword beaten from salvaged caravan axle and river-steel, balanced and lightly runed. Glints with a faint heat-tempered sheen.

Atk Counts as a +1 weapon for attack and damage rolls. Mild resistance to rust and acid; rolls to avoid rust/acid damage gain advantage once per long rest.

A crudely welded war pick with a serrated head; made from road spike and wagon axle.

Dirty construction makes it easy to cut rope/fabric; gives advantage on attempts to break rope or hinges once per short rest.

Small, weighted picks suitable for throwing or close fighting.

One pick in the set is weighted for accuracy; when thrown, grants +1 to attack rolls once per short rest.

A hulking greatclub reinforced with metal strakes and a weighted pommel; favored by wasteland raiders.

On a critical hit, deals an extra bludgeoning (crushing effect on objects).

A sleek javelin with an obsidian-inlay shaft. When thrown and used to strike a target, it attempts to return to the thrower's hand.

Once per short rest, after hitting a target, the javelin returns to the wielder's hand. If the path back is obstructed by more than 10 feet of solid stone, it fails to return.
Armor4

A heavy chain shirt whose key links have been replaced by hammered adamantine plates. Bulky but eye-wateringly tough.

AC +13Counts as adamantine armor: critical hits against the wearer become normal hits instead (adamantine property).

A round shield patched from several shields and metal plates, rim studded with blunt spikes.

AC +2Provides +2 to AC while wielded (standard shield). The spikes grant a piercing hazard to anyone grappling the wielder at the DM's discretion.

Scrap plates wired together into effective limb guards; covered in jagged metal spikes.

AC +1Grants +1 to unarmed damage when wearing at least two pieces. Creatures that strike the wearer with non-reach melee attacks take 1 (piercing) damage once per turn.

Scale mail whose overlapping plates have been heat-bonded and sealed with Brakka's molten sap. Comfortable strangely.

AC +14Functions as +1 chain-type armor: grants +1 to AC (i.e., gives the wearer +1 magical armor).
Miscellaneous5

Hammer, tongs, chisels, whetstone and a heavy anvil chain-scarred from molten slag.

Grants proficiency bonus when used with Smith's Tools for repair/forging checks. Brakka will offer free advice on using them once.

Bundles of flattened plates, rods and strips—useful for repairs and improvised weapons.

Can be used as material component for smithing and repairs. DM adjudicates quality for crafting checks (+1 advantage if Brakka assists).

A black, tar-like grease that resists heat and temporary seals cracks in armor or gear.

Applied to armor or weapons: grants resistance to fire damage for 1 hour. Smears wear off after heavy combat.

Basic tools and patchwork supplies to fix armor, weapons, or leather gear in the field.

Restore minor damage: once per use you can repair points of structural damage to an object or grant a weapon/armor item a +1 competence bonus on one attack/AC for 24 hours.

Hand-forged spiky traps useful for slowing mounted or pursuing enemies.

Standard caltrop effects; designed to be re-used if collected and hammered flat & reshaped.
Potions2

A clear red flask that mends minor wounds and staunches blood.

Heal 2 HPHeals HP when consumed (standard potion of healing).

Thicker red potion stored in a corked iron-bound vial.

Heal 3 HPHeals HP when consumed (greater healing).

Shop Atmosphere

The forge smells of burnt oil and metal filings; the shop is stacked floor-to-ceiling with crates, half-finished weapons and masks hung from rafters. Brakka hums tunelessly while he works, treats strangers with blunt humour, and asks for barter in scrap or favours as readily as coin. He often keeps one foot in a metal bucket full of water and will only serve customers who don't mind their hands blackened and their boots scraping slag.
