Weapons6

A hardwood club inset with razor obsidian blades in a toothed pattern. Fashioned in the style of old marsh tribes — deadly against unarmored foes and ceremonial-looking.

Jagged obsidian teeth can cause nasty cuts; on a critical hit deal an extra slashing (flavor/homebrew).

A simple spear with a quetzal-feather fletching and a sharpened obsidian tip. Balanced for throwing and thrusting.

Feathers help stabilize thrown attacks (purely decorative).

Short, razor knives with weighted obsidian heads. Sold in a lacquered reed bundle.

Small and light, ideal for ambushes and hunting.

A stout handaxe with serrated obsidian micro-teeth near the edge. Hand-forged for chopping and close combat.

Edge holds well against bone and hide.

A slender blade favored by scouts of the marsh tribes. Obsidian facets line the fuller for ritual flair.

Lightweight design aids quick thrusts.

A curved blade with obsidian inlay, echoing coastal and jungle shapes. Good for slashing attacks and ceremonial dances.

Decorative quetzal-feather tassel can be removed; otherwise purely nonmagical.
Armor4

A wooden round shield reinforced with an obsidian rim and adorned with feathers — ceremonial but sturdy.

AC +2Feathers dampen sound when paddling or moving stealthily in marshes (flavor only).

Layered metal and treated hide fashioned into overlapping scales — a practical compromise between mobility and protection.

AC +14Slight penalty to stealth in noisy underbrush (flavor).

A shirt of interlocking rings partially hidden beneath leather. Useful for scouts who expect skirmishes.

AC +13Lacquered rings resist rust from marsh salts.

Soft leather treated with oils and herbs to resist damp and insect damage; common among Lizardfolk hunters.

AC +11Light scent of swamp herbs helps mask human odor when hunting (flavor).
Potions2

A corked vial filled with a rosy tonic. Standard adventuring restorative brewed with swamp blooms and bright lichen.

Heal 7 HPHeals HP when consumed (average shown).

A bitter, algae-tinted vial that calms and counteracts common venoms and swamp poisons.

Grants advantage on saving throws against poison for 1 hour after use.
Miscellaneous2

A bespoke scale mail inlaid with micro-obsidian and patterned after Ikauelis's clan markings. It hums faintly and always feels slightly cool.

AC +15Uncommon magic item: grants +1 to AC while worn (adds to base armor AC).

A stout shield with a polished obsidian rim bearing a carved crocodile motif. It feels reassuring in the hand.

AC +3Uncommon magic item: functions as a shield that provides +2 AC plus an additional +1 magical bonus (total +3 to AC).
Miscellaneous4

Hammers, tongs, files and specialized obsidian polishes. Everything a smith needs to craft or repair metal and hardened hide.

Allows repair and modification of equipment; proficiency with smith's tools grants advantage on related checks.

Sharp, brittle arrowheads that deal severe cutting damage to flesh but chip on hard materials.

Better against unarmored targets; may shatter against metal (flavor).

A colorful cloak woven with bright feathers, worn by tribal leaders and hunters for status.

Cosmetic — may impress or offend certain tribes; no mechanical benefit by default.

Ikauelis will repair dents, replace rivets, and reset obsidian edges. Major reconstructions cost more.

Professional smithing reduces breakage and restores functionality.

Shop Atmosphere

The forge sits beneath woven thatch and obsidian slabs; ceremonial smoke and the scent of hot resin fill the air. Ikauelis Tijpantis speaks in a low hiss and measures worth by deeds as much as coin — she prefers feathers, hides, or a share of a hunt as barter. She hums an old marsh chant when forging; her teeth are filed and polished obsidian. She will sometimes test a blade's balance by having the purchaser flex or bend it dangerously close to her tail — she never flinches. Ikauelis dislikes wasting metal and will offer a discount for returning broken pieces she can salvage. Beware: she is blunt and literal; haggling is expected but personal insults are rewarded with silence.
