Marcellus greets every customer with a small, ornate silver coin stamped with the shop's kraken-phial emblem that can be redeemed for a 5% discount on potions under 200 gp; he's well known to refund sailors who get scammed elsewhere. He insists customers read a short, friendly 'safety note' he tucks with each sold potion. The shop plays a soft loop of sea shanties (a mechanical music box behind the counter), and dozens of little glass jellyfish hang from the rafters—they glow softly at dusk, giving the interior an otherworldly light.
