Shop Atmosphere

The shop smells of oil, lemon peel, and old parchment. Gears of various sizes line one wall and tick quietly; a small clockwork rabbit naps under the counter. Mirelda compulsively polishes brass when thinking and will often haggle by offering a free minor tinkering job (cleaning a weapon edge, waxing a rope, tuning a clockwork) instead of lowering the price. She collects odd teeth and small glass marbles from customers (keeps them in labeled jars behind the counter) and greets newcomers with a puzzled question about whether they'd prefer tea, oil, or a demonstration.
