Shop Atmosphere
“Sunveil Sundries sits under a permanent awning of beaten copper and faded banners. The shop smells of spiced tea and sun-bleached leather. Bolts of light-reflecting cloth hang from the rafters and a low brazier always burns with a perfumed ember to keep dust at bay. The owner hums a slow lute tune while arranging wares and will offer any customer a cooling glass of tea before bargaining. She insists that every sale include a short story about the road to the item and will mark favored customers with a small henna sigil on their wrist. She dislikes selling to those who wear metal gauntlets into the shop and will refuse service to anyone who tries to haggle without first sharing their best travel tale.”
