Once per long rest, grants advantage on Survival checks to track a creature type (beasts or humanoids) for up to 1 hour. While active, scents associated with the tracked creature become easier to detect (+2 on Survival checks).

When broken and spread on the ground, it preserves a scent trail for up to 24 hours. Trackers using Survival checks gain +2 on checks to follow that trail. Single use; 1 charge. Restoring the vial requires a day of ritual and herbs.
