Branuk Ironhand
Shop Atmosphere
“Branuk Ironhand is a huge, gentle goliath who inherited the shop from his retired parents. He speaks Common haltingly—short sentences, often ending with a fond grunt or a laugh. He calls regulars 'friend' and will insist on offering tea or a biscuit (free) if you step inside. He doesn't haggle much; instead he ruminates aloud while tapping items with his massive fingers. Unexpectedly, he keeps a small, well-organized library behind a curtained shelf—he can't read much himself but dearly respects books because his parents did. He sometimes misprices exotic books, offering a bargain because he 'likes how the spine smell.' Repairs can take a little longer because Branuk likes to talk to his tools and hum old marching tunes while he works.”
