Wearer gains +2 to Persuasion checks, but each time the wearer accepts coin or payment they must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be compelled to give away 10% of that payment to the nearest stranger. Repeated failures create social liabilities.

A brass lantern etched with stylized dawn motifs. Its flame burns a pale, unnatural white.

When lit it reveals invisible creatures within 30 ft and emits a bright 20 ft radius and dim 20 ft beyond. Once activated the lantern draws necrotic attention for 24 hours: the user must make a Wisdom saving throw or suffer psychic damage each hour until a remove curse effect ends the draw.

He insists buyers sign a short, binding 'receipt' in dragonblood ink that is magically enforceable in the city, and he refuses to sell any item that might remove another vendor's curse without proof of a customer's ability to pay for removal.
