The Wayfarer's Provision sits on a windblown corner by the main trade road. Shelves of battered tin, hooked tools, and travel-worn cloaks lean against a low counter. A brass smell of oil and leather hangs in the air. The owner keeps a battered bell on the counter; when a customer rings it twice the shopcat—an orange tom called Stitch—pops out of a crate to inspect coins. Lira Mossway, the proprietor, hums at dawn, mends torn packs between serving customers, and always offers a cup of weak tea with purchases.
