A stubby candle in a pewter holder that, while lit, causes small shadows to stretch into lucky shapes. Perfect for trinket-luck and dramatic entrances.

Once per day: grant +1 to a single skill check involving sleight of hand, performance, or luck-based DM fiat within 1 hour while lit.

A small bone whistle that produces a chorus of tiny echoed tones. Looks harmless; sounds oddly comforting.

3/day: produces an audible echo that can mask sound for 1 round in a 10-foot cone (Grants advantage on Deception or Stealth checks that rely on sound for that round).

A brass token with a smiling face etched on it. Warm to the touch when held while meeting someone new.

Once per long rest: while holding the token and speaking the target's name aloud, you gain advantage on Intelligence (History) or Charisma (Persuasion) checks involving that person for 10 minutes.

A tiny smooth stone that orbits your head faintly and hums when you think of silly things.

Grants bonus to one ability score of DM/party-chosen flavor while orbiting (treat as minor boons appropriate for Level 3).

A small glass vial of shimmering soapy fluid. Produces bubbles that float and pop with tiny, harmless sparks.

Unlimited uses: creates harmless bubbles. Once per day, a single bubble can produce a minor distraction equivalent to the effect of Prestidigitation's noisy spark (GM adjudicates: can distract an unprepared guard).

A cramped map that redraws certain dead-ends to show more pleasant routes. The ink shifts when you sleep.

Once per day: reveal a plausible (non-magical) alternate route to avoid one natural obstacle or bring you to a point within the same region (GM decides feasibility).

A tiny carved nut on a leather thong. When chewed (taste cancels), it seems to quicken little decisions.

Once per short rest: add +2 to initiative roll (apply before rolling).

A vial of ink that makes simple doodles look remarkably persuasive on paper—great for notes, fake warrants, or illustrated lies.

When used to create a small illustration or marginal note, grants +2 to checks to convince an NPC about a trivial visual claim for 10 minutes.

A slightly warm metal button that Freedo keeps on display. He offers one if you ask nicely.

+1 to a single ability check (player's choice) once before you lose the button (one use).

A small card you write a short message on; the target feels a faint image of the scene described. Not a full sending, merely a dreamy hint.

Once sent, the recipient gains a brief, vivid impression related to the card's content (GM describes; useful for clues or comfort). Usable once per long rest.

A small polished mirror that, when peered into, shows a micro-expression the viewer overlooked.

Once per short rest: grant advantage on one Insight check or let the user reroll a failed Insight (take the new result).

A length of braided string that resists permanent knots. Handy for quick bindings or decorative work.

Cannot be tied into a knot that resists easy undoing; any 'simple rope' tasks are done with advantage (DM may allow).

A metal cap that produces a loud pop and tiny sparks. Designed as a prank but useful for directing attention.

Single use: produces a loud pop audible to 60 feet (no damage); may startle small creatures and grant advantage on a single Intimidation/Performance attempt tied to the noise (GM adjudicates).

A paper-wrapped bundle containing five small, mundane-but-odd items (e.g., a chipped thimble, a button with a face, a curled feather, a tiny bell).

Mostly flavor; 20% chance one of the items has a minor magical quirk (GM determines: faint glow, mild tingle, or minor sound when handled).
Potions2

A tepid amber potion that brings a pleasant warmth when sipped. Not a combat potion, more of a comfort in a draughty inn.

Heal 4 HPHeals hp when consumed and grants advantage on saving throws against cold effects for 1 hour.

A vial that, when sipped, applies minor, cosmetic changes to hair, skin tone, or small apparel for 1 hour.

Nonmagical illusions: allows altering appearance in a limited way; grants advantage on checks to pass a quick glance inspection (not against magical detection). Duration: 1 hour.

Shop Atmosphere

Freedo is a mimic disguised as a charming wooden curio chest that purrs and rearranges items when not observed. He speaks in a cheerful, slightly hollow voice and enjoys bartering with stories or small jokes in place of coin. He will occasionally 'accidentally' stick to a customer's sleeve to show affection (quick grapple check to remove is theatrical but non-hostile). Freedo dislikes being called 'it' and will sulk, refusing to sell the 'Good Luck Button' until mollified. He keeps an assortment of trivial trinkets out front and rotates one 'Featured Curiosity' each week — sometimes the item truly is more than it seems. Customers report that if you leave a small trinket with Freedo for safekeeping, it returns with a tiny additional doodad from his collection the next day.
