A hand-tied bunch used to staunch bleeding and as a component for poultices.
A thick amber salve for preserving and softening pelts; a staple in a town built on fur.
A pungent oil used in smokehouses to tan and scent pelts for long-term storage.
A jar of crushed herbs and bitter oils to keep wolves and bears from traps and camps.
A small flask of brewed berry-and-bark tea. One cup wards off chill and soothes the lungs.
Salt mixed with curing herbs to prevent hides from stiffening and to keep them supple.
A sticky natural glue derived from boiled antler scrap, excellent for repairs.
A powdery, silver-green lichen used as a catalyst in arctic salves and certain rare poultices.
A single-use cloth packet of crushed herbs that soothes wounds and reduces bleeding.
A bitter amber liquid brewed to counter common venoms and spoiled meat poisons.
A small crystal vial of red liquid that closes wounds and mends flesh.
Crushed blue-gray root gathered beyond the snowline. A chill-touched salve prized by trappers who endure ice and frostbite.
A honeyed tincture scented with chamomile and spruce. Trappers use it to calm skittish or aggressive animals.
A thick hood of tanned fur, stitched and treated with salves and warming herbs.

Shop Atmosphere
“The shop smells of pine, boiled hide and simmering herbs. Pelts in every stage of curing hang from the rafters; a small wood stove bubbles with an always-warm pot of Winter's Tea. Svala hums tunelessly while she works and will accept high-quality tanned pelts as partial payment (typical trade: one well-tanned fox pelt ≈ 2 gp, bad pelts taken only at her discretion). She is quick to barter, distrustful of coin-only merchants, and will fiercely protect any animal found hurt on her doorstep.”
