Shop Inventory
(16)A well-packed set of tools for working small mechanisms, clockworks, and delicate repairs. Essential for any inventor or gadgeteer.
A complete alchemical kit for experimenting with concoctions, acids, adhesives, and basic alchemical items.
A smith's outfit scaled for fine metalwork, used to shape and temper small parts as well as repair weapons and armor components.
A compact kit of picks and tension tools for opening locks and disarming simple traps.
A sturdy canvas bag with brass rings and a faint hum when shaken. Perfect for hauling gear without burden.
A thin pair of pale leather gloves embroidered with nearly invisible runes. Popular with delicate operators and coin-finders.
Brass-rimmed lenses with an adjustable leather harness. Lenses glow faintly when stars are out.
A pocket-sized mechanical owl with turning gears for feathers and a copper beak that clicks thoughtfully.
Shiny brass legs and a glassy lens for an eye. Designed to slip through cracks and fetch small tokens.
A compact contraption of ratcheted cogs and a leather pouch of tension-straps that makes reloading faster and less fiddly.
A carefully-drawn blueprint on oiled paper, annotated in cramped, exacting script. Contains the inventor's margin notes and a stamped Cog & Stone seal.
A small kit of spare parts and calibration tools for on-the-road repairs of small mechanisms.
A short braided filament capped in glass; slides into a tiny clamp and sparks when sealed.
A voucher for shop time. Inventors often buy these to rent bench-space and heavy tools for a day.
A small glass phial containing a viscous, ruby liquid. A staple in many adventurers' packs.
A travel-worn cloak lined with tiny stitched plates of hammered brass. The hems whisper when danger lurks.

Shop Atmosphere
“The shop constantly ticks: gears on display rotate, an idle automaton cat winds itself and strolls around the shelves. The bell over the door is a tiny gong rigged to a spring; when customers haggle, Brennix may add in a free repair or a dubious invention as a test. Brennix accepts gold, electrum, silver and copper but loves swapping schematics and rare components for discounts. He will refuse to sell any schematics to anyone who cannot name the inventor who inspired them.”
