Aurelia keeps a careful ledger of every enchanted item that passes through her hands and casually hums an old sea shanty when bargaining. She wears a leather apron full of pockets and a thin silver monocle that glows when she examines magic. She offers friendly if frank advice, sometimes pointing out drawbacks she noticed in an item during previous owners' mishaps. Her shop smells of oil, herbs, and singed paper. Customers are often invited to tea while trade is negotiated, and Aurelia has a soft rule: free tea for weary adventurers, fair price for dangerous goods. She dislikes obvious thieves and has a discreet bell to summon a retired adventuring friend if a bargain turns violent.”
