Shop Inventory
(14)A palm-sized brass bird with whirring gears and feather-thin filigree wings. Can fly short distances and carry a tiny note or object (up to 1 lb) for reconnaissance.
A tiny hexapod that scuttles across surfaces and hides in cracks, useful for listening and scouting in confined spaces.
A pocket device that creates a controlled magical flame or spark for a moment; ideal for lighting fuses or lamps.
A wind-up cylinder that records and plays back short audio patterns—useful for mimicry or encoding messages into 'birdsong'.
A small sack of common replacement parts for tinkering and quick repairs.
A medium-sized brass-and-leather mechanical dog built to guard, pursue, and harry foes. It trots with pneumatic hiss and clockwork jaw.
A half-finished brass owl torso loaded with delicate gears, arcane filaments, and a slotted receptacle for an eye-lens. Fenwick claims it's for 'spying on the gods.'
Bronzed goggles with rotating lenses and a small brass dial. One lens can tint, the other can magnify.
A small iron sphere with a pull-ring and vents—when activated it emits a thick, odourless smoke.
A palm pellet useful for distractions and escapes. Less dense than the Smoke Bomb, cheaper and disposable.
A palm crossbow-like gadget that fires a woven metal net on retractable springs.
Contains standard artisan tools (tinker's) with additional compartments for tiny gears and an arcane chalk for rune marking.
A common red-amber potion that heals minor wounds.
Kits of brass plates, tiny springs, oiled cogs, and a vial of restorative tincture used to repair minor mechanical constructs.

Shop Atmosphere
“Fenwick is very high-strung and talks fast; the workshop is a constant buzz of gears and soft pneumatic hisses. He keeps an elaborate, slowly-growing blueprint and half-built frame for a 'mechanical owl to spy on the gods' propped over his workbench—he'll enthusiastically (and nervously) ask customers for feedback on the owl's 'ethics, vision optics, and whether the gods prefer brass or copper.' He occasionally offers experimental discounts if you agree to test a prototype (results may include minor explosions, unhelpful chirps, or unexpectedly insightful gossip).”
