Weapons3

A well-made shortbow of seasoned yew. Balanced for quick shots and medium draws.

Standard longbow, long-limbed and built for range. Elowen's preferred baseline for patrols.

Reinforced limb tips and a tighter tiller let this bow handle heavier arrows and slightly harder draws.

Designed to accept heavier arrowheads without damage to the bow; better longevity under harsh use.
Miscellaneous3

Basic iron-headed hunting arrows, fletched with goose feathers.

Arrows with silvered arrowheads, suitable for creatures vulnerable to silver.

Counts as silvered for overcoming resistances or vulnerabilities to silvered weapons.

Standard bolts for light crossbows; capped heads and straight fletching.

Miscellaneous2

Glass vials embedded beside the head shatter on impact, splashing burning alchemical mixture.

On a hit, deals an extra fire damage; flammable targets may ignite (DM discretion). Single use per arrow.

An arrow with a feather carved from a wyrm's plume; it hums faintly. Once fired, it seeks its intended target.

When you fire this arrow at a target you can see within range, you may declare the arrow 'seek.' If the attack misses, you may spend your reaction to have the arrow curve and reroll the attack against the same target (the reroll must be used; no advantage). Single use (rare).
Miscellaneous1

A magically enhanced arrow that grants a bonus to the attack and damage roll when fired.

Atk +1 to attack and damage when this arrow is used.
Miscellaneous1

A finely balanced longbow with minor enchantments woven into the stave. A solid step up for serious marksmen.

Atk Grants +1 to attack and damage rolls when used to make ranged weapon attacks (uncommon).
Miscellaneous2

Leather bracers embroidered with feather motifs. Worn by hunters and scouts to steady aim.

While wearing these bracers, you gain proficiency with the longbow and shortbow if you lack it. If you already have proficiency, you gain a bonus to damage rolls with those weapons (uncommon).

A long leather quiver with hidden space-threading. Holds many items as if in extra-dimensional pockets.

Functions as extra-dimensional storage for bows, arrows, rods, staves, and similar items; draws and stows silently and quickly (uncommon).
Miscellaneous1

Feathers plucked from a rare, silent-crested bird. Arrows fletched with these are unusually quiet in flight.

Arrows fletched with Ghostfeather grant a bonus to Stealth checks made specifically for silence of the shot (this does not give magical silence). DM adjudicates noise in special circumstances.
Miscellaneous1

A finely braided silk bowstring that reduces vibration and increases smoothness of release.

Improves shot smoothness; reduces wear on the bow and grants advantage on one Athletics check to string a bow in the field (flavor/mechanical benefit subject to DM).
Miscellaneous1

A compact, portable straw target with a collapsible wooden frame. Easy to stake and take down.

Miscellaneous2

Elowen will re-fletch an arrow with your choice of feather type and tune the flight characteristics.

Depending on chosen materials, Elowen can grant minor nonmagical bonuses such as reduced wobble or steadier flight (e.g., small bonuses to attack at DM discretion).

Service to repair nicks, replace broken nocks, and re-tension a bow for reliable shooting.

Shop Atmosphere

Elowen hums a different hunting song for each type of feather she handles; she tucks one spare arrow behind her ear and will insist you examine the spine and grain of any bow you buy. The shop smells of boiled feathers and beeswax; a foxlike terrier named Pica sleeps in the bottom of the display quiver. She accepts coin, trade (particularly furs, feathers, or rare timber), and favors from hunters — but detests theft of supplies and will quietly but thoroughly curse repeat offenders with a fletching of thorns (a public shaming ritual).
