Shop Atmosphere
“The shop smells faintly of cinnamon and fresh bread (Harrin keeps a small jar of spiced jam behind the counter). A gray tomcat named Pindle naps on the scales and will attempt to 'approve' purchases by rubbing against crates. Harrin offers haggling on anything under 5 gp if you can tell a good travel story; high-value items (50 gp+) are sold at posted price unless you can pay with something of equal value to Harrin’s secret collection (he never says what it is). The ledger is written in cramped, cheerful handwriting with doodles of tiny barrels in the margins.”
