Weapons3

A finely forged steel longsword with a leather-wrapped grip and a pommel etched with tiny protective runes. Typical military issue with a smith's care.

Minor runic etchings reduce wear; +1 to maintenance checks (DM fiat).

A stout axe with a broad head and a reinforced haft. Heavy enough to cleave bone yet well-tempered.

A compact crossbow with a deeply spliced string and a pewter sight. Horgi sells it with two spare bolts.

String treated to reduce misfires; advantage on first attack after a long rest if string maintained.
Miscellaneous2

A dwarven handaxe with a small socket lined in faintly luminescent metal. When thrown, it flutters back to the wielder's hand at the end of its trajectory.

Atk When thrown, returns to the thrower's hand immediately after attack (as if cast returning). Counts as a magical weapon for overcoming resistances.

An elegant long blade forged in a collaboration between Horgi and an elven carver. It gleams with a faint blue edge and feels perfectly balanced in skilled hands.

Atk Grants +1 to attack and damage rolls. The elven glyphs grant a +1 circumstance bonus to Sleight of Hand to maintain the blade (story use).
Armor3

A round heater shield of thick oak bound in iron, its back lined with shallow protective runes that glow when the shield takes a heavy blow.

AC +2Once per long rest, when reduced to 0 HP the shield's rune flares, granting the wielder a +2 temporary AC boost for one round (DM discretion).

A rings-of-steel shirt custom-sized and oiled to prevent squeak. It sits lightly beneath surcoats and provides solid protection without heavy encumbrance.

AC +13

Thick leather bracers that protect forearms and provide a better grip when wielding heavy weapons.

AC +1Small bonus to grapple checks when worn with gauntlets (DM discretion).
Potions2

A small glass phial of red liquid that heals common wounds when imbibed.

Heal 2 HPStandard Healer's Potion: Heals HP (D&D 5e common potion baseline).

A larger phial containing restorative amber liquid. Favored by caravan guards and dungeon-delvers for quick recovery.

Heal 8 HPHeals HP when consumed.
Miscellaneous1

A beautifully crafted blade whose fuller is inlaid with a sliver of the obelisk's carved stone. The glyph inside the blade connects to the obelisk’s minor warding energy.

Atk Grants +1 to attack/damage. Once per short rest, the wielder can call the rune to shed dim light in a 10-foot radius and grant the next hit an extra radiant damage. Requires attunement; the obelisk fragment hums when powerful spells are cast nearby.
Miscellaneous4

A full set of files, hammers, tongs, charcoal, and specialized dwarven tools for metalwork and minor magical inlay.

When used with appropriate skill checks, grants +2 to metalwork tool checks.

A tapering iron tool with a hook and a brittle glass bead that clicks when a hidden mechanism is tripped. Useful for investigating mechanical traps on doors and chests.

Provides advantage on checks to detect or disarm simple mechanical traps (DM discretion). Breaks on a critical failure.

A flat whetstone impregnated with an elf-wrought oil blend. Keeps edges keen and prevents minor nicks.

A weapon sharpened on this stone gains +1 to damage rolls for one day (non-stacking with magic weapons; DM discretion).

Ten iron spikes for improvised barricades or traps.

Miscellaneous1

A stout iron ring with a chip of the obelisk set beneath the bezel. It hums faintly and warms on command.

Once per long rest, grants resistance to nonmagical slashing damage for 1 minute while held or worn. Useful for front-line fighters.
Miscellaneous1

Personal inscriptions, house sigils, warding runes, or elven flourishes carved into weapon guards and pommels.

Minor cosmetic or roleplay runes; if the party commissions a magical rune, pricing and creation time increase dramatically (DM discretion).

Shop Atmosphere

The shop is two-storey with stone walls and tall elf-wrought wooden shelves; an obelisk engraved with glyphs stands beside the building and bathes the front window in pale runic light at dusk. Horgi is an old dwarf with a voice like rolling anvils; he wears many protective charms and talismans — a chain of tiny shields, a tooth-shaped bone, and a loop of braided mithril thread — each with a story and a fee if you pry. He pours customers a cup of bitter tea when they haggle, keeps a ledger written in both Dwarvish and Elvish, and will trade repair work for stories of battle. He’s generous to capable adventurers (he’ll sharpen one weapon for free and offers a small discount to those who bring back a chipped rune from the obelisk), but quick to remind would-be thieves that his shop is warded — the obelisk's glyphs and Horgi's charms are both older than the city watch.
