Shop Atmosphere
“Sahir is a rakshasa: elegantly dressed, polite, and paradoxically helpful against evil. The shop smells of myrrh and cold iron; at midnight tiny spectral motes drift through the shelves. He will not sell outright to those he judges irredeemably malicious but will make unusual trades (rumors, relics, or proof of monster slaying). He sometimes speaks in riddles and will accept payment in gold, relics, or suitably interesting stories. Despite his infernal nature, his stock and advice show a long, obsessive hatred of evil cults and fiends — he’s punctual, ceremonious, and will wrap every item in a black silk cloth stamped with a protective rune when asked.”
