“Ravenna's Community Workboard (jobs for children and entry-level seekers): 1) Trail Sweeper (children 10-14 / beginners) - Task: Clear minor brush from camp trails, gather fallen branches, mark safe footpaths inside the preserve. - Pay: 2 sp per half day; 4 sp per full day. - Experience (suggested): 5 XP per half day; 10 XP per full day (DM award). - Skills learned: Basic Wilderness Awareness, simple tool use (shears), safe footing and listening for wildlife. - Notes: Lightweight gloves and a small pruning hook provided. Guidance and Rewards: Ravenna signs small paper tokens for completion which can be redeemed at the shop for supplies (one token = 2 sp value) or kept as proof for later apprenticeships. The XP values are suggested guidance for DMs wanting to award non-combat experience; adjust to match campaign pacing. Ravenna emphasizes safety: children never accompany hunters alone and are supervised while learning.
