(13)A supple whip braided with veins of faintly glowing quartz. The lash hums softly when near subterranean beasts.
A heavy iron collar inset with a plate of engraved basalt. When buckled onto a willing creature, it steadies and clarifies commands.
A heavy net with stone-scalloped weights that hold fast to flesh and chitin. Designed specifically for subduing deep caverns' fauna.
A treated net that leaves stinging, mineral residue on those it holds.
Constructed from the armored carapace of a deep roach and lined with felted moss; muffles movement and conforms to oddly shaped mounts.
A short horn carved from basalt; its tones resonate in caverns more than in open air.
A still, ink-dark potion with a single iridescent scale floating inside. Sip to soothe a panicked brain.
A burlap sack of crushed, fermented fungus and mineral salts—irresistible to burrowers and many subterranean herbivores.
A small mechanical clasp that secures saddles to scaled or irregular backs; excellent for arachnids and drakes.
A stout cage with basalt bars and iron bands. Designed to hold a large subterranean beast for temporary transport.
A compact, leather-bound manual filled with field notes, survival techniques, and preferred treats for common underdark beasts.
A small carved root set with a sliver of phosphorescent fungus. Used to mark tamed beasts at night.
A young roper, semi-trained to follow simple directives and return to a whistle. Kept muzzled and in a soundproofed crate.

Shop Atmosphere
“Shop sits carved into a basalt shelf in a low-ceiling tunnel—echoes are muffled, and the dim glow of fungus and quartz veins lights rows of cages and harnesses. Kruk speaks in understated gruffness, polishing items with a stone rasp while his pet blind drakeling curls at his feet. He dislikes sunlight, underprices goods if you barter in rare iron or cavern-grown fungus, and insists every purchaser sign a blood-ink ledger for live creatures. He occasionally hums a low duergar lullaby to calm skittish mounts.”
