A thumb-sized deep-orange stone, polished smooth; commonly used in signet rings and inlay work.

A yellow gem with natural sand streaks. Many in the wasteland believe it wards against fever.

When held during a short rest, grants advantage on one Constitution saving throw made to resist disease or exhaustion (usable once, recharges next dawn).

A palm-sized crystal that still emits light when activated, though its beam is dusty and its mechanisms sticky.

As Gem of Brightness (DMG): can emit dazzling light and blinding rays. Due to age, it has 20 charges instead of 50 and regains charges at dawn.

A ring with a thin inlaid emerald. Its warding rune is faint but intact.

Once per day you can cast the Shield spell (as the 1st-level reaction) using the ring's magic. The ring must recharge at dawn (Mara's artificer repairs improve reliability but only once per week).

On a successful melee attack as an improvised weapon, deals an extra slashing (one use, reloadable with a scrap). Built more for intimidation and surprise than sustained combat.

The shop is a cramped, dust-caked stall of stacked crates and hanging lanterns; gemstones sit beside rusted gears and dried herbs. Mara smokes a perfumed reed and hums tunelessly while inspecting wares with an old spyglass permanently taped to her left eye. She keeps an 'honesty jar' for small purchases but will haggle wildly if you're willing to perform a task (fix a sundial, fetch a component, or fend off raiders). Many items have been repaired from wreckage, and Mara proudly claims each has a 'story' — true or not. In the wasteland, value is function as much as beauty; expect trade-in offers, barters, and occasional side-quests for rare restorations.
